Today we’re going to discuss the best foods for dry eyes. The glands that produce tears and the ducts that the tears drain through are controlled by vitamin A. A vitamin A deficiency can cause the inner lining of the ducts and the glands to get thicker and rougher. The production of tears or fluids can also diminish.
Top symptoms of a vitamin A deficiency:
1. Night blindness
2. Blurred vision
3. Dry eyes
Taking a vitamin A supplement may not be the best solution in this situation. Instead, you could try getting the vitamin A you need from food.
The best foods for dry eyes:
1. Cod liver oil
2. Liver
3. Fatty fish
4. Butter
5. Cheese
6. Egg yolk
7. Beef

You can buy it in the fish stores. It is canned in its own oil. The best quality cod liver comes from Iceland. It tastes very good. I loved it simply on the piece of bread sprinkled with some lemon juice. 1/2 of the small tin - 300% daily value of Vitamin A and cost about 4 $ a tin.

I noticed wrinkles and dry skin on my body I never had before. I have to avoid creams or anything with retinoid today it gives me migraines and headaches. What happens with vitamin a storage does it damage liver? Also my neurologist told me it makes a mess inside our immunity too

@@rob141 Keto and IF ! It heals everything just give it time. During my long recovery I realized that I went through a phase where my liver was already fully healed, but my small intestines were not. This meant that I was able to eat and digest everything again, but since not all of the digestive enzymes got absorbed in my small intestines, they went on and caused the "food" in my colon to be way too "greasy" or "slimy". This meant that gas could hardly pass through my colon, so I spent my days feeling as if my colon was struggling, sometimes even beating like my heart. That was when I realized that if there was a "blockage" feeling in my colon, sometimes I would feel as if my nose was a dry and narrow place, probably because if things struggle to move in your colon, water absorption is also not that great and your heart beats faster since your colon is struggling. But It got better and it's finally over. So I guess If you did not directly damage your nose/sinus, that should be it. ( Even if you don't directly feel your colon struggling or hurting like I did!)

Great to know. I'm treating my dog's dry eyes with distilled water & honey and now black tea. I'm also starting to give her Milk Thistle as she was poisoned with kibble, vaccines, and antibiotics over the years. She'll be 16 yrs old next month and I've had to work hard over the past few years to reverse all of the damage done to her. Holistic care is all that I'm doing and she's faring well thus far. We are fortunate that a vet recommended no more vaxs when she was 6 yrs old. He saved her life as the vaxs nearly killed her at age 1. Never again.
