Yo James, i know this video is a mish mash of previous videos, but i found it extremely informative and entertaining. Ever since my gf and i visited Spain last October, we fell in love with the people and the culture. We are going back to Spain this March, Madrid specifically. Just to add we're headed to Barcelona and Madrid next year and needed this refresher to make a definitive list of places we want to visit. Thank you once again for the ingenious idea to make a compilation video.

Working my way through chapter by chapter, day by day, and enjoying re- living these videos which were the first I saw of yours, when I started researching traditional tapas (and how to go about it as a tourist). I'm glad you ditched the laddish style of the early Rastro video for your more thoughtful vibe tho'. I've not made it to Madrid yet but you enhanced my trips to Seville and Cadiz. Malaga is next. Madrid one day. Can't wait. Keep up the good work!

James and Yoly, wanted to say love your channel and definitely used your recommendations when we were in Madrid last August. One I'd recommend is Gaucho on Gran Via, was right by our hotel and was excellent. We will back to Madrid again soon, what a great city.

In Peru, churros have sugar and a manjar blanco filling. I did enjoy churros at San Ginés. I was surprise that porras are so similar to Chinese doughnuts.

This is excellent to learn from and I used a different video to navigate Barcelona but what can happen is the Devour tours end up spoiling the local bars and restaurants, which is what I have found with Bar Del Pi in Barcelona. I've been to Barcelona three times recently. The second time I went to Bar Del Pi and a group tour came in and occupied most of upstairs. That wasn't the issue, the issue was the guides were spoiling it for others by being loud and cattle herding the group through drinking cava and tasting certain foods. The place stopped being a quintessential Spanish tapas bar with locals and became a tourist bar. This repeated itself on my third trip to Barcelona, so I won't now be going back to Bar Del Pi Great idea to create a tour to these places but leave them to their own devices and let the guides hang around out of the way.

I noticed you did a Vegan Madrid. I would love to see something similar with a Non-alcoholic Madrid. It seems like all is wine related. What are the non Alcoholic options? Do they have different fruit juices, speciality drinks, soda, types of water.

I live in Madrid and typically what I order for non alcoholic drinks: nestea limón, Aquarius limón, agua con gas, Fanta limón, those are very typical, also Coca Cola and you can specify normal or zero zero
