Best Bodybuilder of All Time | Arnold Schwarzenegger's Blueprint Training Program

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

If Arnold Schwarzenegger visualized it, it came true. His goal to be the best bodybuilder of all time-to leave a legacy so great that he would always be remembered-was so clear in his mind that everything else faded away.

In this video, you'll get to view never-before-seen footage of Arnold building his legacy, including some classic tape from the golden age of bodybuilding and new, exclusive interview footage. Follow Arnold's path so you can learn how to build your own.
FOCUS AND ENTHUSIASM
Along with a very clear vision, you'll need enthusiasm to achieve your goal. Arnold was always excited about his progress and excited about the work he was doing in the gym.
"That's why I always smiled when I was in the gym," says Arnold. "People always asked me why I was smiling. Other guys had a sour face or they were pissed off that they had to do another rep or another set. But I looked forward to the work. Why? Because I knew that with every rep that I did, every set that I did, with every weight that I that I lifted, I got one step closer to turning my vision into reality.
"Because I was so enthusiastic about achieving my vision and winning one championship after the next, there was always excitement," Arnold says. "So, when I went into the gym, I put my gym bag down and immediately attacked the weights."

MrZapparin If you read the comments, he was defending Arnold being smart (which was fine until...), saying that he was a millionaire which apparently by being rich, you're smart, even though there are rich people who spent it all and end up being broke, hence not being wise with their wealth. Get it now?

MrZapparin That's good for Arnold then. Nothing against him. Like anyone should anyways. As for your last sentence, you're just completely misunderstood and can't see my viewpoint or acknowledge it. Being rich has no correlation with being smart. And I'm not saying Arnold isn't smart btw.

By doing calisthenics you not only get in shape but you are also able to impressive athletic feats if you keep at it, you have dips, handstands, push ups and its millions of variations for push day, chin ups/pull ups, inverted rows and if you want to isolate biceps then do concentration curls by filling up a sturdy bucket with water/dirt(you can also do rows and shrugs with them) depending on your level for pull day and there are like a ton of exercises for leg day, leg exercises are in abundance with bodyweight, finding these ways is a good way to start training/not get demotivated till gyms reopen, has worked for me so far and gyms are probably opening pretty soon so I'm excited to see how I'll perform in the gym.

*takes 1300mg of Testosterone daily* "You dont need adequate sleep to recover and grow" I know he meant that lack of time is not an excuse to skip the gym, but unless you're on a cycle you need adequate sleep to see any form of gains. His words are a little misleading in that sense because going to the gym and repping your heart out is the easy part. You could work yourself for 9 hours a day in there and see no gaims because dedicating time to your sleep and nutrition is where most people fall short.

The biggest takeaway from Arnold is genetics. That guy worked out 4 hours with monster weights, worked in construction, took late night acting classes, had a social life and slept only 6 hours. For 99.99% of men that would result in injury either mechanical, or caused by massive oxidative stress, or exhaustion to a point you collapse and wake up in the hospital. The key isn't vision or hard work, it's having Greek God genetics.

I mean, look at 1:30 where he blows a kiss to the camera, or 7:13 where he's pec dancing lol, or when he talks about smiling during his workouts instead of looking down like the others. His attitude was equally as impressive as his killer body.

People nowadays "Phil heath"critiqued him about his leg size. In my opinion they were perfect size for the era and very proportional. Quads were larger than the waist but not wider than the chest or shoulders. Chris bumbstead has one of the best modern but classic physique today. People say he's the modern day Arnold.

I tell you, Arnold is the best of all bodybuilders. He is smart and knows exactly how to set his goals and motivate people. I slacked off on my training for years because of school but I go now with Arnolds' mindset. Be focused, have a goal, and train hard.

Yeah that's something I don't agree with Since as a natty I don't need nearly as much volume (some argue that even for an enhanced athlete, Arnie did too much volume) so I avoid dropsets (I want those strength gains too) so I have like 2-3 mins between sets. I'm not gonna just sit there or walk around like a creep...
