That's how subliminal messaging works." My guy...I'm glad you deleted your bs comment. There is nothing sublimal about this. The "gay agenda" is to be able to be themselves and live freely. If seeing that happens to "interest you way too much", you are not being hypnotized. You are learning about yourself. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm straight. I unironically only touch butts with cis women. I have LGBT family and friends. I played "Beyond 2 Souls" and watched all of Elliot's movies. Not only that, but for actual trans people, it takes a lot of confidence to go into the bathroom that you identify with. A lot has to do with passing. Also trans men. Anti-trans people like to argue against trans women in women’s spaces, but nothing is said about trans men in men’s spaces.

Intersex people exist, people with chromosomal differences exist, etc. It takes 16 different genes to dictate your eye colour, it takes more than just having xx or xY to be a certain sex.Many ancient cultures had a term for people who didn’t fit into that cultures (Hawaii, Native American) definition of male or female.

I support your freedom to do what you want too. But I have a few questions. I don't mind calling a male, a woman, if they really want that. Or the other way around. Sure. But what about sports? Should a person born a male, be able to compete against people born a female, as a woman? Personally, I'm a straight man. I would not want to date trans people as my preferences don't lie there. I don't mind if you do, or anyone else. I just don't want it for myself. But how does this work? Is it reasonable for me to go on a datingsite and ask for people who are born a woman and still identify as such? Cause I am tolerant to whatever others want but does that mean I can't have my own preferences anymore? I don't really care what others do. But I was called a transphobe once, just because I said that the other person in a relationship has the right to know what they are dealing with. Isn't that correct?

@@OzkanArac in dating, your personal preferences are your business. If you don't wanna date a trans woman that's fine, just like if you didn't wanna date a blue eyed woman or a tall woman. That wouldn't be descrimination against blue eyed women or tall women, you date whoever you want. Nobody will force you to date a girl just because she's a girl and you're straight. About wanting to know that ahead, It's your right to ask, but if people are further in transition and you didn't notice they're trans, you can't get mad at them for not telling you, If you didn't ask. It would be the same if I didn't like Star Wars fans, I had sex with someone or started dating them and got mad finding out that they were star Wars fans the whole time. It's something personal about them that didn't affect our relationship and I didn't bother asking, so they didn't need to mention it. I still have the right to break up with them because I'm free to break up for any reason I want. I'm Sorry if it was a dumb analogy but I believe it makes sense. If a trans person is pre-transition you'd probably realize, or wouldn't get as far as having sex without realizing it. Now, in sports, I personally believe It's ok, for example, for trans men to play sports with cis men depending on how far they are in transition, phisically. If his weight, height and strenght are compatible with the other players, I don't see the problem. In this matter we should always worry about how fair and safe the game will be for everybody envolved. It's more about compatible physical characteristics than gender identity itself, same way you wouldn't let a cis woman who weights 80 kg fight against another cis woman who weights 50 kg. It's just unsafe and unfair.

Actually; I have a brain capable of remembering things, before people began arbitrarily changing the meaning of words, "queer" actually was a synonym of "gay". and it was the way to mention homosexual people in Britain in the seventies (as an insult, and not as an insult, depending on context). @@ivojara People didn't randomly "began arbitrarily changing the meaning of words" though, language has always been mutable. You say "queer" used to mean "gay" in the seventies, and that may be true, but the word "gay" itself didn't always mean "homosexual". In the past it could mean "happy" or "joyous", it originally had nothing to do with sexuality. Same with "queer", it used to mean something back then, but now it's more used as an umbrella term for someone who isn't cisgender and/or heterosexual. Words change meaning over time, that's how it works.

Had to laugh when a chatter said, "I'd be super uncomfortable if I saw Ben Shapiro in any bathroom!" ... and his name turned out to be "Cleveland Steamer." Haha

As a 5’2” woman, I’ve never feared for my safety when using the women’s public restroom. You know when I do fear for my safety? Walking down the street, because at the very least I could be catcalled or creepily followed. At the worst, I could be assaulted or killed. Stop pretending like women’s biggest concern is a bathroom, when you constantly blame women for being victims of rape, as if we somehow did something to deserve it. I hate when people defend rapists by saying they’re good students or athletes, and that a rape accusation could ruin their futures. Ben, if you actually care about women’s safety, at least keep it consistent, not just when it benefits your transphobia. Edit: also, if someone is planning to assault someone else in a public bathroom, their gender isn’t going to matter. A cis male isn’t going to transition just so he can assault a woman in the ladies restroom, nor is the fact that he’s cis not trans going to stop him from entering the bathroom.

No it isn't. It's a fake argument they use to justify being transphobic. That's all it really is.

I feel like Ben talks about sex, not gender, while you say that gender is a social construct, which is correct. Sex and gender are twi distinct things. Sex is what you’re biologically declared at birth ( female / male sex genes ) amd gender is the identity that you have in society. A lot of people on both sides of the argument are confused about it.
