I no longer associate being Trans as depressing. I've learned to differentiate quality of life situations from my emotional state of mind. One can be very happy being Trans, but frustrated with complexities. There are many aspects of being Trans that's only challenging because we're Trans. I didn't adopt the positivity mindset I see many in the Trans community have, I think as a coping mechanism. Sometimes when you have to tap into the reality of a situation, you'll recognize the external forces that make it difficult, and that's what's depressing! If we're always going to look at the positive aspect then the problem really doesn't exist, you just have accept the outcome and make the best of it. I think what makes Trans complain, rant, or vent, it's because the unnecessary compoundedness of the issue.

Also on the affirmation part, keep in mind (if it helps with mental health) that while transphobia seems really bad now, things will get better in the coming years. Moral panics don’t last forever, and just as how racism, sexism and homophobia have all declined, so will transphobia eventually. Plus, there a millions of people out there who are accepting of trans folks. I’m a cis guy, but I and most people I know are completely okay with trans people.

This is why I never transitioned even tho I wanted too , I rather just be who I was born to be cuz even if you successfully transition you gonna have to explain to every potential date that your trans .

First up, sorry to say that, but please change the batteries in your fire alarm. Secondly... even tho I personally fear nothing about being trans myself, I easily get why someone would be. It's easy to be scary if others judge you just cuz of what you got in your pants or on your chest. Too many people don't get that someone changing their body will not harm them. There's some people out here who genuinely believe that someone wanting to be different gender makes them a threat, and it would be funny if it wasn't this sad. That being said, those people weak. Just do the best you can and don't mind those people. Violent people will be violent, no matter what you do.

Fear breeds violence. Violence is always caused by fear. Even if they don't wanna admit it, they wouldn't get violent if they didn't fear what wasn't a threat in the first place. Once you understand something is just fear it gets better to feel pity for those people.
