Going to these drug fests was a serious blow to my faith in the west. Amongst other things. The first guy was pretty unsufferable...ugh...I cant stand people who answer questions with "So..blah blah blah" psychologically its an act of defiance, these people are narcisists who view it as a power dynamic, the alpha ASKS and the beta ANSWERS. When they answer with "So..." its their way of taking the conversation from you, it does eventually provide the answer you were looking for but its at their leisure and they try to make it sound like that detail was just part of a story they "were already telling" These people grew up hearing their shitty teachers doing this in order to maintain "dominance" over a classroom when questioned by a student...And sadly theyre all so unaware of themselves they dont even know theyre doing it, theyve been conditioned to view questions as a challenge for dominance and answering as a form of submission.
