These videos are fantastic, you really know how to teach concepts and practice all in one! I have been thinking about getting into modular for awhile now but worried it was over my head, turns out I just needed to find a good teacher!

A lot of people don't explain how the high pass filter on this design works. I figured it was in series with the low pass, given my experience with the Malekko Roland version, but very few places anywhere actually say that much less give the signal path. Thanks for the great video with excellent explanations and examples!

Just another thank you.I have a rack that has several Sys100 modules that I put together, somewhat blindly, from an inheritance. I am still learning it's capabilities, and our in-depth videos have been indispensable in my journey. For example, your "Behringer 150" video led to about 8 hours of patching fun. Thank you!

Very nice in depth review of this filter ! I've been messing around with Behringer system 100 modules for 3 monthes now and God I love them !

Thank you so much, you give me a helping hand to buy modules for the system 100. Your vid's are the best on youtube. Detailed, on the point and very comfortable to view (without this fx and hard cut nonsens). *FAT THUMB UP*

A nice trick is to patch one of the outputs of the filter back to itself to both the audio and CV inputs. Those 2 signals could also be sent through and LFO controlled VCA for some more dynamics. Move the attenuators up for the 2 signals. The filter starts to crackle, pop and distort quite nicely, reminding perahaps of some guitar amp. Once again, the multitude of outputs and inputs make that an easy patch.

I got the synth voice module that also has that filter (without the highpass tho, but dont need It anyways) and i have to say that i LOVE the sound of the filter with no resonance, It just sounds so pure and good, perfect for those filtered bass sounds or plucks.. defenetly a keeper!

I had this problem too and end up with both. Guess thats inevitable once you're into modular...

why do i feel guilty for liking some of Behringer's Eurorack modules such as the 121?

The resonance is a real ear ringer

I have a euro system and this filter, I think it’s a complete bargain and sounds great
