I do hope he gets his shot as soon as possible but you do need to earn your way up.

@@redboy8985 and a 10 fight win streak is more then just earning it. You got guys on losses getting titleshots, on 1 to two fight winstreaks getting titleshots like a Jared Cannonier. You got guy with just 2 fights in the UFC getting titleshots. So idc who you are if you beat 10 guys in the UFC in a row that's fking impressive. Cuz there are legit only what a few of them. You got Islam, Volk, Charles, Usman and that's it. Leagues of their own.

I gotta say, I think that first fight KO was one of the best things that could have happened to Islam. It happened early enough that it won't really affect his rankings too much, it demonstrates that he has the skill and fortitude to come back from a loss, it provides a young fighter a certain degree of humility, and(most importantly) it prevents a fighter from having to carry the weight of the "0" throughout their entire career.

Yea, Khabib really needed that loss to be humble and respectful. Plus these guys come from the same place so its not like its a cultural thing.... Do you think deeper than 1 second before you type? Attributing his morals and respectfulness to a loss early in his career is equal parts idiocy and disrespect. Especially when there is a clear example to the antithesis of what you are attempting to claim. Conclusion: You are not bright enough to theorize the motivations of others, and not cultured or travelled enough to understand people outside of your bubble. Its not the end for you though, you can learn. One of the best ways to do it is to travel and live amongst a different cultural group. It will make you a better person. Until then, shut up please. Thats the problem Islam and Khabib faced. When they want to push their rank until they got the title shot, many good fighter avoid them. When they eventually got the title shot, people said they fight nobody tough. But after khabib become the champion, these good fighter need to fight him for the title whether they like it or not because khabib is a champion. After this we will see Islam facing more better fighter than usual
What makes Islam great is his amateur career, more than 250 fights. You need to understand that level like his comes only with 20 years of hard work and dedication there's a talent also but professionalism is what make these guys better than rest!
If this man fights for the title he'll probably rule the division until he retires.

You can't teach chin. Khabib got saved by his iron chin a couple of times as well. Against Gaethje he took some hard shots, against MJ etc. Islam while very good simply doesn't have that chin.

He distroyed Conor's career and take soul of all fighters when they enter with him in cage. A scary fighter no other fighter wants to fight ever with khabib still now... The fight i want to see is floyd vs khabib... Biggest pay day for both.. Boxing and ufc biggest fight people will go crazy to saw them both fighting each other..
