Excellent series on EWT and Fibonacci retracement. Question: At 10:04 in the video you have drawn 2 parallel lines. I understand that the area where price crosses the lower channel is an important indicator for the length of Wave 4. But in this case, 4 extends far beyond the lower line. How does the lower line of the channel help you gauge where Wave 4 will end using this price action method? The lower trend line is only about 50% the length of Wave 4. Can anyone enlighten me?

To predict where the wave 4 will end u should use ending channel technique, draw same lenght of upper channel or copy paste below the other channel.

I see this often and realised some of it, thanks for clarifying the entire picture.

Does this theory' have time frames it works better in for identifying the waves??or u just go looking for impulse correction in weekly daily four hour???

4:02 I'm just wondering if elliott wave's top and bottom is consequential result-based. We are looking at past charts so we can identify the patterns easily. If we look at Nov 20th region that low could've been counted as the 2nd wave, and got into a long position putting stop-loss below that low. But the price came back down resulting in a loss. So to avoid this, we can aim for breakouts instead and get into a long position when the price breaks out above the 1st wave. But if the price gets rejected shortly after the breakout, that would look like a M double top pattern which is again a losing trade... So as a result I don't think elliott wave patterns play a big part for deciding which position I'm gonna get into at this moment. Just the regular support-resistance levels seem more trustful.

U did not explain the use of Fibonacci in Elliot corrective wave like zigzag, flat and triangle. Can it be used for currency or is only good for stocks.

can you explain again on how to find wave 4 target by drawing the trend line ? On the video wave 4 clearly break through the channel , what to do next to find the wave 4 target ?
