I am Licensed Esthetician :) The banana and honey are both full of vitamins and minerals that are great for nourishing your skin and the honey itself is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial ingredient so it's great for treating acne! Both of those ingredients are highly moisturizing when applied to the skin as well. The yogurt has enzymes but more importantly lactic acid! Lactic acid is found in milk and it helps to break down the "glue" between the dead, dry skin cells on the surface of the skin which is how it is exfoliating the skin :) Lactic acid is also great for brightening the skin over the time and helping to lift areas of hyperpigmentation!

+Tynesha Tenamu It felt better under my eyes but I actually have a wrinkle problem and I know there's no miracle cure but it was fun trying it. I didn't notice anything significant.Just felt nice and smelled yummy.

I haven't done this, but I did try a honey and banana hair rinse once... Not smart. It was so hard to get the clumps of banana out of my hair and the honey just made it worse. Might have worked better if I had used a blender, but I was in college at the time and I stupidly tried this before having to go to class. I have heard these ingredients are supposed to be good for your skin and yogurt has probiotics so that's good too I guess.

Try the 2 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 cup olive oil, 5 teaspoons lemon juice mix together. DIY shaving cream. I tried it and it was such a HOLY FRAIL!!!!!! So please try it Ellie

Once a week, I use a mask of green clay, vinegar, raw honey, macadamia nut oil, and lavender essential oil. I have SUPER oily skin and this helps to keep my skin looking clear and bright. I also use another mask/cleansing treatment once a week made with masa, olive oil, and lavender essential oil. (This one I bought from a company called Fat and the Moon on Etsy.) I tend to use nature-based products on my skin because 1) I have sensitive skin and 2) since these products are going on my skin and will be absorbed, I don't like using anything chemical-based. :D Plus, I have tried DOZENS of traditional skin care products and none have worked nearly as well as my homemade ones

Glad to help. :-) A few more of the things I use are straight coconut oil at night. I use it both an eye cream as well as on the rest of my face. My daily moisturizer is aloe vera gel. Just make sure it's at least the 99% actual gel.

You can always add stuff into this! Oats help acne, eggs help anti-age stuff, and grinded up charcoal pills help with blackheads. So if you wanna put more food on your face you could try those!!

another amazing thing is a coffee scrub. make yourself a cup of coffee, then take the wet coffee out of the filter, rub your face with it, let it sit for a few minutes, rinse off and feel the feeling!
