Is not the real price that house is more cheaper but they want to sale to people outside of Mexico. They can make more money

Pretty amazing for the price (at least, when comparing with expensive parts of the US that I'm used to). And I assume that property tax rates are quite low compared to what they are in most counties of the US.

That’s my hometown. Just be careful if you’re buying homes on top or bottom of the mountain. There’s a big chance of mudslides when it rains.

Can you do a video on a neighborhood where young people can live around other young people please? Seems like your videos attracted more older couples.

According to Jerry Brown Travel channel you cannot finance a home in Mexico, it has to be the full amount in cash, is that true? You mentioned a 10% down payment.

Hi Clifta, yes that is true. It is a cash market for foringners here in Mexico. The 10% I memtioned is to put the house under contract. 90% and closing costs around 3.5% to be paid in cash at closing. Cheers Rich 👍

I think Rich is correct. It's in the ballpark -- assuming you don't actually pay USD$259k. 259k with Estadounidense-style commission (but before notarios) is $274,540, and that's too high. Enclosing the terrace was a bad idea, and there are other design mistakes. Pool appears to be shared, so that's not great. Nevertheless there's somebody who'll pay $245k for it (259,700 w/commission) and be happy. Not me, but somebody.

Mexico is a very rich country and as every part of different countries there are average ppl and very wealthy ppl who can afford to live in a much secure and private property’s. The fact that you can’t afford it or seems expensive to you is because obviously you don’t have the money. Seguramente estás rentando?

I would not invest in a old house in Mexico. Buy land and build exactly the way you want to international building codes that consider the type of environment the house will sit in. These old houses can be a maintenance nightmare, even with cheap labor to repair, replace or rebuild something everyday.
