It has been a pleasure to watch these fellow runners and how they've been able to improve their records a lot. Thank you -Sagee95

Right as i was about to do a watch party on my twitch channel, i found out i got a copyright claim for the Final Fantasy 8 opening, so now i know that lol. Ultimately i'm perfectly fine running risks like that if it makes the video better, and at least it's "shared revenue" but i do wanna thank Displate again for sponsoring the video, and my patrons so i don't have to rely on the algorithm and ad revenue for growth and money to feed the family. As a bonus note, this will be my final video that i will create using Vegas. I have over 10 years of muscle memory with the program but the crashing and freezes are getting out of hand now that my projects are significantly more ambitious. I think the next video is going to be a pretty short one, just so i can get used to using Adobe Premier and possibly After Effects as well.

26:50 The hilarious thing about this song from DBZ Budokai is that it's a rip off of a song by a Finnish power metal band Stratovarius called Hunting High and Low. Having it play in a montage that involves two players, one of which is a Finn, trying to break a speedrun record set by a Finn is fantastic.

I totally get what you're going for with the super close up montage but when I can't even see the split times because it's so blurry I think it's a swing and a miss editing wise. I would much rather have seen footage from the splits and the split times themselves zoomed out and actually legible. What I'm talking about begun at around @7:02 and it's pretty awful to look at due to the resolution of the clips you used coupled with zooming in on them so much. @8:23 is a perfect example of what I'm talking about, just awful to look at. Great video about speedrunning though! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

These types of videos are my favourite. Your video on Touval, the man who broke spyro in half was so well made and interesting, the video on Dayoman done in a similar format was also exceptional. Growing up with crash and spyro I love seeing this shit, so entertaining, keep it up man

Adored and hated this game as a kid. Took me 15 years to beat it, even so that was on co-op. Loved the editing in this video btw, great job

Been binging your videos since yesterday and they're awesome. It's super interesting! But what stands out to me the most are your excellent music choices. Sewerslvt during Bensagram's montage here, and even some Lego Rock Raiders OST in the God of War video that sent me straight back to my childhood. Amazing. Subbed.

This game had a lot of hidden mechanics that take most players ages before they figure it out. Some of it can be called RNG but there is a lot of logic in it as well at a second glance One thing you didn't mention is that in the relic challenges (not needed for Any%) the AI targets the player almost the double of the amount. The early retail version of this game had a cheat menu that if you enabled it, you could manipulate things like that. It also allowed us to see how cruel the devs got with the challenges. The settings are from 0 to 20 on AI targeting AI, AI targeting the player and AI difficulty. Besides the trophies, all the other challenges had a high AI targeting player setting. In the Tank mini games, this can quickly become a nightmare because it's very easy to get surrounded by them. However, you can manipulate the AI most of the time to attack each other if you know what you're doing because the AI targeting AI setting is still high enough to make it happen. Another fun little discovery I made is that if you set the difficulty to 20 in the Crash Ball stages, the AI is completely broken and just spazzes out. Though, I believe no challange ever uses 20 anyway probably due to how buggy it can be and would just make children cry if it worked anyway.

I played a lot of 2 player crash bash when I was a kid. This was a pleasant reminder of those days. Great content! Some gameplay sequences with no narrative like "the quest for 2h10" were too long for my taste.

I hated that game so hard when I was a kid because of the unfair AI buffs for relics and stuff and because in French, when you loose, the... narrator? well, the voice said "you loose" but it sounded like backslang and it was infuriating, like if it was mocking you for loosing

    >because of the unfair AI buffs for relics and stuff From what i've noticed when playing the game, on trophy the AI is set to medium difficulty, but on gem and beyond it's set to hard.

I still love playing this game on my hacked vita. I still have the disk game too. I use to love playing this at my nanas and tried to beat it with in a day. That game is crazy too speedrun. I couldn't imagine the pain going through that. Especially on the pogo levels. God
