Yeah this hunt covered lots of different type of terrain and habitat. Elk roam wide and far!
Sweet, Sweet, Sweet!!! Great job on a great bull! Well Done!!!
I beat them odds this year 4 days into season spot and stalked my bull at 1.2 miles away and are owed him in the heart ❤️ died 30 yards away with his 15 cows tearing out of the country leaving him behind! My first bull ever and with a bow 6x6 down! The meat is awesome!!!!

At what yardage was the elk when you shot that looked around 60 to 70 yrds but a awesome shot on a good sized bull

One of the first rules of hunting is, know what is behind your target and never shoot at a skylined animal.. You got lucky on that one, but where would your arrow have gone had you missed the bull high or low. And for those who may ask, no I have never shot at a skylined animal or an animal that had others behind it.
