Awesome comparison, Lee! Thanks! 😃 You see, I would love to like the T-Pro... Full 18650s and so on... But those switches kill me. So, if I had to choose I would go with the Zorro. My vision isn't that great either, so the bigger screen is a sweet addition! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Great comparison Lee, thank you. I’m awaiting arrival of stock so I can get the Zorro in ELRS flavour to give that a try, it’s the availability of trims and other features that are so similar to a full size TX that attract me. I also like the idea of trying Edge TX and it’s suggested benefit when using SIMS that clinches the deal here.

In the end I went for the Jumper, way smaller and better battery life was what pushed me over. The better price and an included bag for storage was some nice icing on the cake!

Hi Mr. P Great video and comparison of the JUMPER and Radiomaster game style radio's. For years I have been flying with a original style radio's and then I started flying quads and ended up switching to the FRSKY Xlite radio and after that I was no longer able to pinch the sticks but had to switch to thumbing it. But now I'm flying wings, airplanes and quads with it. I like the Radiomaster over the Jumper mainly because of the switches and the larger screen.

Received my 18350 cells for my Zorro yesterday and am quite looking forward to flying with my Zorro. One small drawback I discovered yesterday was Banggood pushed the estimated ship-by date to 20 Mar :( Yes I could order a Zorro from HobbyRC right now but it wouldn't be much use to me without a Crossfire Nano TX, which nobody appears to have any stock anywhere.

Trimmers and switches on the T-Pro are a deal breaker for me, but I fly planes just as much as drones. I might need to give the Zorro a try just to have a compact option.

Not sure if I missed it in the video, but any info on whether either of these support Crossfire/Tracer running at full power? My understanding is that a lot of these smaller controllers will only run your CRSF module at low power and not the silly/ludicrous/etc power they'd run at on, say, a TX16s. I think I saw one review that said that the Jumper was one of the first to be able to run higher powers vs other gamepad-style controllers. I'm interested in the Zorro, but having to run my Tracer module at low power could be a deal breaker?

I like the T-pro, for most of the reasons people didn’t. Gimbals are ok I’m a hybrid pincher and use a lanyard, my style switches with the aircraft. I’ve never accidentally hit another switch while wearing goggles because their aren’t any protruding out in the way, major plus for you multi switch function users. The antenna is ok I’d rather a removable snap in place or twist on.

Ordered a Zorro about a month back and can't wait to get it! Battery life is a bit of a concern and the thought of attaching an external 2 cell along with a crossfire/elrs module just seems clunky to me.

I was worried about that too, but after watching many reviews, the 2hrs of flight time at 250mw seems enough for me. And the quick charging and external battery options fix any battery issues for me.

@@JP-qq2kn This'll be my travel radio and use crossfire for some long range planes I travel with (mountain surfing :-) ) so it'll be interesting to see how much the extra power draw effects it. I wouldn't be against modding it. I'm buying it for it's small size/features more than anything.

To me the main point of any gamepad-style radios was the size of it, and zorro does not change anything - it is still a full-size radio when packed in a packpack. T-pro is a lot more portable, I believe. And also, my version has got a switch on the right, not a wheel. A rotating/vertical antenna would be more correct, but since I personnaly have this radio to fly quads close to me, it doesnt really matter.. And also there are 3d printed mods available so this is not a big deal. Yes, it feels a big..like a toy of cheap plastic, but it is cheap and it is plastic. And at some point, but it does its job. Thank you for your video, it is as useful as always!

Hard dilemma mate! Thanks for the review! Im trying to choose my first ever radio controller and cause of the size im actually between those two (the models with internal ELRS) The only think that keeps me from buying the Zorro is just the battery thing, otherwise for wing/airplane seems better than the jumper. Can i charge Zorro while i'm using it? (via a fast charge powerbank for example?) - If so, battery problem solved!

There seem to be a major flaw with the Jumper T-Pro internal ExpressLRS Radio: the gimbal readouts begin to jitter on high power settings! The Speaker is effected too. There is no internal shielding around the RF-circuit. I documented the behavior here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eHyem7OAhdWfoLA.html

@@badfourlifeI shielded the circuit with Copper tape - that didn't helped. But i found an other solution: I switched to a different antenna! The thin kabel of the original one doesn't seem to isolate enough. Now i got almost no jitter at full power.
