My wife and I spotted one of these beautiful batmobiles parked in Viera Florida last week. The car looked like a top-of-the-line model. Spotless, or course. Very cool.

Mark, I saw the original television show George Barris Batmobile along with Adam West and Burt ward around 1967 at an Autorama car show in Seattle. As an 11 year old it was amazing see and meet Batman & Robin as well. You have created an amazing attention to detail replica of that Batmobile. Beautiful! You guys do great work. Had I the means, I'd get myself 1 or 2 or...............................10. :D I'm a car geek this was the one that started it all. Before the General Lee, K.I.T.T., the BTTF DeLorean, the was the '66 Batmobile! I saw it(replica #2, I think) at the 1980 Spokane Autoboat Speedshow when I was 8. Met Adam West and Burt Ward, too. Definitely a day to remember. :)

I love the Batmobile repula 1960's Owners Manual that you and your staff specialize in with 1000 % dedication . It's made with great care and love. It's beautiful and priceless. ☺

I saw a Batmobile (or a replica thereof) in 1967-1968 (guessing the year) at some kind of car show in Ashland, Kentucky. I never much liked the campy TV show but it was interesting to see the car used in the TV series.

Holy cow Batman. When l win lotto this is the first thing I’m going to order....

SECOND PART TO MY FIRST STATEMENT. Mark...you could also add 2 aditional buttons on the steering wheel up top where the sterring wheel ends. one button for the left side of the steering wheel one button for the right side. these buttons would be additional buttons wired into your regular turn signals...this way the driver would NOT have to move their hands to flip the switch for the turn signals it's EASIER access to the blinkers. Have you EVER thought about making the 66 with a TURBINE engine??? that would be AWSUM! take it easy don't work to hard and enjoy your business. GREAT JOB BUDDY!

We are the only officially licensed builders of the 1966 Batmobile, and DC Comics/Warner Brothers hold us to the highest standards of accuracy. While it would be fun/interesting/perhaps more convenient, we must remain as true as possible to the #1 screen-used 1955 Lincoln Futura-converted 1966 Batmobile. Mark, would you ever consider making the 1989 Batmobile? That and the '66 are my favorites. Only downside to the '89 I can see is that it looks incredibly hard to get in and out of.

+Jorge Almeyda , I would be happy to build the 1989 Batmobile, but as of this time no one is licensed to build it, and I am under contract *not* to build any other Batman vehicle besides the 1966 Batmobile. If that changes, you will be sure to hear about it!

Megaman, thanks for your kind comments about our work. We are planning to build 1966 Batmobile replicas for a long, long time, and yes, we can ship the cars across the pond. We have done so successfully to England, Italy, and Australia.

Mark...what would be cool...is after the body comes out of the mold and you do all your sanding and filling and everything is ready to be painted...apply a couple of coverings of CARBON FIBER, this could be an EXTRA feature. The Benefits would be that the batmobile would be very much STRONGER since carbon fiber is almost as strong as steel. it would also give the car a cool look if you just applied a clear coat OVER the carbon fiber instead of painting it. THE HANDLE that hangs down since it is not used for anything could be used...as a special horn that gives the sound of da da da da da da da da da da da da BATMAN! a recording that people could here...when you pull the handle down. A magnetic lock would also be cool to incorporate into the doors.... no handle...just hold a special electromagnet incased in a small box powered by a battery...then hold it next to the door push a button... and the door would POP open. A retractable downward moving and upward moving back canopy that also slid foward would be cool to encolse the driver and passanger.... you could drive it.. with or without the back canopy being exposed...it would be an EXTRA feature. HOPEFULLY one day soon I will be able to purchase one of these from you and those are the features I would like to see in the car. Thanks Mark...and good luck and GREAT job you have done on the batmobiles.

So as far as emissions requirements for California, is the vehicle an actual 1966 vehicle/specified donor car refurbished or a complete kit car built from scratch? Does it become exempt from emissions smog tests?

Hi, LiveDiscJockey. Thanks for your question. The laws from each state change from year to year, but we have had great luck getting our cars titled all across the US, including in California. The LS E9 engine is a guaranteed 50 state compliant engine that should pass California emissions. The car is titled as a 1955 Lincoln, if that is helpful. Hi, Al. Thanks for your message. I used Greg's turbine sound effect generator for two of my cars. It worked well on one, and I had problems with the other. I sent it back for repairs, but it still had problems. I think it's a neat idea, but I think there are some bugs that still need worked out.

I asked Greg if he could give me more details on the installation of his machine, and he said he'll send me a detailed idea and that was last week and I haven't heard back. Thats a lot of money for sound, but if I knew how it worked I might have invested. Now I'm not to sure? Thanks for getting back with me, it means a lot. Again, your car is awesome!

We have added cup holders to a few cars, and all of our cars come with 12 volt outlets.

This would definately be the final piece of My childhood dream but alas I can't afford it however I own a classic 1966 Batman costume and I do a great adam west as a matter of fact My close friends and family not to mention a local tv station said I should be a professional adam west impersonator.

We've not had any troubles getting them registered in any state we've tried (including California, Florida, and New York. The technical issue is not having windshield wipers. Most people realize that you're never going to intentionally drive an open top Batmobile in the rain, but a few are sticklers. For them, we offer a clamp on, hand operated Model T wiper, and that suffices, LOL!

Do not use the flams during a no burn alert. RRMEMBER Only you can prevent Forrest fires.

We built twenty-five replicas, including this one, using 1970s Lincoln Town Cars. We started using a custom-built tube chassis about five years ago.

I watched a video of a Mopar girl and friends at a gas station, when one of your Batmobiles pulled in she flipped out to the max, lol. That's what your builds can do to people ! Also watched English man Shmee 150, who owns multiple supercars, including a new Ford GT, ride as a passenger down the strip in Vegas; the smartphones were in overdrive, and he was ecstatic !!

@@arkhsm , there are currently two driveable replicas of the 1955 Lincoln Futura. The first was built by the late Bob Butts for the TV show VIPER, and is now owned by ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. We did the fiberglass modifications and bodywork to get rid of the cardboard and make it more accurate. Jeff took it back to LA to do the brightwork...right as the state shut down for COVID.

What are the chances of equipping one with a engine out of an m1 abrams?

as cool as this is. it sucks that its actually illegal The red light on the roof is actually illegal, atleast where i am as it can be classified as impersonaiting a police officer. I honestly dont know if he said this in the video cause i don't have headphones but, it kinda sucks as even one of my favorite TV-Show cars, Kitt also falls under this law.

Brandon, thanks for your concern about the beacon light. The beacon may be used in parades or off-road situations, but I always let my customers know that it is illegal to operate the red beacon light while on the road. We have had twenty-seven of these cars titled and registered throughout the US, England, Italy, and Australia. Thanks again for your comment and concern.
