I checked on eBay, and yes, they have jet engines. I found one for 5,000$ and another for 15,000$.

One of the most screen accurate I've ever seen and I simply can't believe he added the lift mechanism from Batman Returns!

There were jet engine cars I think by GM or one of the other big 3 and it did use a transmission so no fireball out the back

@Agostino Matteucci if you want to see an actual turbine powered Batmobile, look up Casey Putsch on youtube. Even has they machine guns on the fenders that shoot small flame recreating the sound only of gun fire. I'd take that over one that spins.

My favorite bat mobile!!! The 89/90 model! "Shields on!" And Prince on the soundtrack! RIP!! I'd Love to drive this on the road occasionally! Imagine the look on younger kids faces who realize the character many of us love! Adults too! The engine loping & the jet engine in the back would blow minds ! Based on the movie... that's one of my dream cars! Shooting out cables making 90 degree turns in rain sleet & snow 😂😎🤣 Probably the best built functional bat mobile ever!! I love to see how fast this one would get on the stretch! 5000 lbs with a big V12 engine! 7 liter or whatever he said! How much horsepower is this thing?

I just rewatched the 1989 film a few days ago. Amazing how stylistic and otherworldly Gotham City is. Wish later films (including the Joker) put that much effort and creativity into world building.

Gotham City in Burton era had that awesome look that practically alone could tell a story. Unfortunately later attempts were either bland or just plain simple. One exception is inclusion of Narrows in Batman Begins, which was kinda interesting.

It can push the car as is. Weve made a cone for the back as well if we want to concentrate the thrust and it will go much faster. But overall driving is done with the v12
