I watched a video of a Mopar girl and friends at a gas station, when one of your Batmobiles pulled in she flipped out to the max, lol. That's what your builds can do to people ! Also watched English man Shmee 150, who owns multiple supercars, including a new Ford GT, ride as a passenger down the strip in Vegas; the smartphones were in overdrive, and he was ecstatic !!

@@arkhsm , there are currently two driveable replicas of the 1955 Lincoln Futura. The first was built by the late Bob Butts for the TV show VIPER, and is now owned by ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. We did the fiberglass modifications and bodywork to get rid of the cardboard and make it more accurate. Jeff took it back to LA to do the brightwork...right as the state shut down for COVID.

This would definately be the final piece of My childhood dream but alas I can't afford it however I own a classic 1966 Batman costume and I do a great adam west as a matter of fact My close friends and family not to mention a local tv station said I should be a professional adam west impersonator.

Hi Mark, what do you think of the realsound1 for the Jet Turbine Sound? I spoke with Greg the owner, and Im not sure how it works? have you used this method for the sound on any of your 66 Batmobiles? thanks AL

Hi, Al. Thanks for your message. I used Greg's turbine sound effect generator for two of my cars. It worked well on one, and I had problems with the other. I sent it back for repairs, but it still had problems. I think it's a neat idea, but I think there are some bugs that still need worked out.

I asked Greg if he could give me more details on the installation of his machine, and he said he'll send me a detailed idea and that was last week and I haven't heard back. Thats a lot of money for sound, but if I knew how it worked I might have invested. Now I'm not to sure? Thanks for getting back with me, it means a lot. Again, your car is awesome!

So as far as emissions requirements for California, is the vehicle an actual 1966 vehicle/specified donor car refurbished or a complete kit car built from scratch? Does it become exempt from emissions smog tests?

Hi, LiveDiscJockey. Thanks for your question. The laws from each state change from year to year, but we have had great luck getting our cars titled all across the US, including in California. The LS E9 engine is a guaranteed 50 state compliant engine that should pass California emissions. The car is titled as a 1955 Lincoln, if that is helpful. Before the General Lee, K.I.T.T., the BTTF DeLorean, the was the '66 Batmobile! I saw it(replica #2, I think) at the 1980 Spokane Autoboat Speedshow when I was 8. Met Adam West and Burt Ward, too. Definitely a day to remember. :)

as cool as this is. it sucks that its actually illegal The red light on the roof is actually illegal, atleast where i am as it can be classified as impersonaiting a police officer. I honestly dont know if he said this in the video cause i don't have headphones but, it kinda sucks as even one of my favorite TV-Show cars, Kitt also falls under this law.

Brandon, thanks for your concern about the beacon light. The beacon may be used in parades or off-road situations, but I always let my customers know that it is illegal to operate the red beacon light while on the road. We have had twenty-seven of these cars titled and registered throughout the US, England, Italy, and Australia. Thanks again for your comment and concern.

We've not had any troubles getting them registered in any state we've tried (including California, Florida, and New York. The technical issue is not having windshield wipers. Most people realize that you're never going to intentionally drive an open top Batmobile in the rain, but a few are sticklers. For them, we offer a clamp on, hand operated Model T wiper, and that suffices, LOL!

Mark, I saw the original television show George Barris Batmobile along with Adam West and Burt ward around 1967 at an Autorama car show in Seattle. As an 11 year old it was amazing see and meet Batman & Robin as well. You have created an amazing attention to detail replica of that Batmobile.
