Barre Workout with Mini Ball + Mat Abs & Stretching || 30 minutes

You will love using a mini ball in this fun Barre class that is great for seniors and beginners.
If you don’t have a ball you can still complete the workout without one, or you can also use a rolled up small towel. This will help keep the contraction in your muscles especially your hamstrings.
You will also need a chair to serve as your “barre” to hold on to.
This barre workout really works the entire leg for a long, lean and sculpted look. After our warm up and exercises at the barre we will move to the floor for some ab work and stretching all while utilizing the ball. You will love the creative moves and how you feel afterwards!
All of these barre exercises are low impact and no dance experience is required!

I've never tried this one because I don't have a stability ball. I found that all of the exercises are easily adapted and had a great workout.😃👍🏻

Time for a ball - this is a challenge need to do more of this again but I did enjoy 😊 and thankyou 🙏 Thursday 31/3 now for arm strength - it is pouring here so more workout is a no- brainer ... lol 😂

Thanks for the barre routine. I ordered the ball you suggested from Amazon and tried it out today. Yes, I laughed at myself in the beginning- ball was over inflated and it jumped around a bit! The workout was wonderful and my thighs are still singing. Your cues are wonderful and much appreciated.

Yay, I’m glad you got the ball! It will be easier from here on out. I love the ball for really isolating and targeting the muscles. And it’s just fun to work with a prop! Now that you have the ball, try the Pilates with mini ball video too!

WOW! This was a good one this morning. Thank you. I'm curious, is it normal for hips to get quite fatigued with this work out? I am hoping if I keep doing barre, they will loosen up. Thank you Lauren.....always so grateful for you.

Yes Cinda. The figure 4 stretch is a great way to loosen them up. Barre uses many underutilized muscles in the body including the hips and glute area. Keep up the good work, you are getting stronger :)
