As I watch I am hand stitching the binding to Labyrinth Walk for my grandson. His is made from all grunge fabric. From a creamy white ,to a greige, to a gun metal gray, to black. Fun pattern to do for sure.

Tammie, you are such a kind person and you always share such good information and encouragement to quilters, especially to those of us who have not been quilting a long time. Your emphasis on focusing on the journey and not perfection in quilting speaks volumes as to your experiences and the sharing of the wisdom over your years of quilting. The quilts were all amazing and so beautiful; I have wound up making purchases of fabrics and patterns several times after seeing the quilts on your videos. I can only imagine what joy you experience when you receive new quilts to work on. I agree that you have the best job of all!! It sounds like your Christmas is already very busy with joyful events that your kids are participating in. What fun that must be. I look forward to another video before the end of December, but I want to wish you a blessed Christmas and New Year filled with joy and the blessings of family and friends. Your videos truly bring me joy, and it feels like I have just had a “visit” with a dear quilty friend. ❤

Wow, that is a lot of driving. Thank goodness there isn't any snow here in Southeast Michigan, or in Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin for your driving journey. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I love the quilt presentations.

Wouldn't it be fun to do a labyrinth quilt in a corn fabric and make it appear as a corn maze with accents of tractors and silos. Just a thought. I love that quilt. I love the panel quilt. I have two panels that I didn't really know what to do with them. I now have ideas to get those made into a quilt.

Just watched your recent video. Love all the beautiful quilts and quilting. When I saw the quilt with the primary colored circles, the circles reminded me of fabric I had used in the Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt designed fabric of Eric Carle! Interesting design with all the circles!

That’s the great thing about quilting . . . There are so many different styles that what one person loves, someone else could do without and vice versa. There is something for everyone! ♥️

That last quilt tells an amazing story of creativity-separating out a sort of “clowny” multi colored polka dot to make something that looks much more sophisticated and organized. A great lesson for repurposing that “ugly” fabric-and reinforces Bonnie Hunter’s axiom that if you don’t like a fabric, you just haven’t cut it small enough!

Just curious , did you quilt the top separate from back ? On the labyrinth ? How to get the swirls on back and not front? I'm new to learning to quilt. I have a long arm .

The swirls were on the backing fabric. I’m sorry I said that in a confusing way. I stitched the Double Squared pantograph through all layers.
