Considering the circumstances at Barcelona. Xavi spel is a successful one. Ending in the top four in all 3 seasons winning the league in one of them is success!!! Just that most Barca fans are spoiled they are expecting extra ordinary things

This is a good shout! I actually looked at the Eredivisie and I felt like the big three kind of have their managers settled (even Ajax after their dreadful start). That said, AZ Alkmaar, which has a terrific youth system, would be the pick and maybe on my shortlist of clubs I'd want him to consider.

Dan, please increase your volume. Generally(except for the purist), your guests are loud and clear and you aren’t. Other than that great show.

sometimes he makes valid points but he is really pessimistic and i’ll add that every time i’ve seen him on the show he gives a hint of racist vibes too. i dont like him as a guest here tbh.

Xavi's body language is no different from the others top coaches. He doesn't look much nervous to me. So I don't know what he is talking about.

look into what? he got a knock on his leg the moment his weight came down on it. unless you have absolutely unit of trained ankles which you cannot play with, nothing to prevent that. can happen to any player...

Honest xavi talks to much and is subs are wrong? Last season in the cl we had no starting centerbacks. This season we have no midfielders. Pep, klopp will never come to barca so why compare xavi to them?

how do you not rate Ancelotti? 4 champions league (the only I think) and a league championship from all 5 leagues (the only I think). While Pep is coaching one of the biggest cheaters in world football. Praying Pep comes back home!

What fascinates me is that after Xavi taking over that Job in Barcelona in its worst situation bringing them to 2nd place and wining the league next year and until now still having a chance (it is small) for the title this year - saying “it didn’t work out” is strange. The club has no money - it’s impossible to sign up the big stars but the expectations for the results are still the same. That’s just impossible. Does he make mistakes, sure. the inconsistency of the performance kills me. But all over he did an amazing job.

Such a great question about Xavi’s next move and your guest could not come up with one single entertaining scenario. And liga MX??? Cut it out. Our legend is not going to Mexico. Serie A I do like. Like an ac Milan for xavi

Xavi would benefit from coaching in Portugal, Serie A, and maybe a Bundesliga team (depending on the team). He would have European football and more opportunity to test out his tactics. Going to Mexico which I think is better than the MLS would benefit him due to the lack of pressure. As for our formation we should use the 4-3-3 with a focus on wing play due to the lack of depth. We have Roque and Felix on the left, and Raphinha and Ferran on the right. That’s when we are the most dangerous this season.

xavi would benefit from going to team that actually has money to give him whatever player he wants, imagine coming into the club of your life meeting all your targets bringing in youth talent left and right winning a double and because u didnt win the champions league with oriol romeu people think you've been underwhelming

Why are we so determined not to blame xavi? Xavi has shown that he cannot translate how he wants to play to the team.since last season we played ugly football amd very defensive and thats how we won la liga . This season he tried to play attacking and that's why barca looked so bad defensively .. xavi may know about football but translating that to the team is the problem

Completely agree. Xavi as a talent and a footballer was a legend. As a coach, nope he doesn't have it. And it is no shame-he is equipped for something else. From what I can see he is unlikely to be a great coach or make a success elsewhere.

@@paulodili751 exactly. We have to judge xavi as a coach not as a player. We love him , he was a legend but as a coach he is not that good .coaching is completely different . The thing is we blamed koeman ,blamed valverde ,blamed setien but being hypocritical when it comes to xavi . You cannot tell me a team with Lewandowski, felix ,yamal, cancelo ,de jong , gundogan, pedri, gavi, araujo can be playing so bad all season .these are worldclass players. Xavi has to be the problem. Watch and see when we get flick or de zerbi.

Xavi played his entire life in professional football and won all the trophies one can think of in NO fucking way do we plebs have any authority to tell this guy how to fucking play his tactics or coach a team
