Professor DeWitt, Your videos are helping me so much. I did horrible in Chemistry during high school. I got off with the wrong foot with the subject. Now, I'm in college, and I stumbled upon your videos when I needed some clarification with gas laws. They were so helpful. You have gotten me to enjoy this subject. I love it! I took my first Chemistry exam in college last week. Got the result back tonight, and got a 92%! The class average was 60%. I'm amazed. It's all thanks to YOU!

Man your videos are so specific/detailed, no way somebody can't get balancing redox equations after watching this

The thing that I like the most about his videos, other than the incredible explanation, is the fact that he is so happy doing it, the guy can't stop smiling and I think it just makes you like the subject too.

Dr. DeWitt, when we have to balance out the charge in a redox equation, we do it by adding electrons... why do we make it a priority to cancel out the electrons on both sides of the equation, even if we have to multiply one part of the equation by a natural number... why is it so necessary.... also thank you so much for your videos I'm so lucky to have people like you around... your videos have helped me so much... i used to be an average student, now i am the topper of my class... and you are the only guy that deserves any acknowlegment for that👍👍👍

Also ... why do we only add H2O and H+ and OH- to fulfill the demandd for hydrogen and oxygen, does it mean that the reactions take place in an aqueous medium?
