We started our Bacolod food tour with the famous Filipino food, half moon cakes, with some local coffee to wash it down. Known as the sugar capital of the Philippines, we continued our Bacolod food tour tasting a local favourite, chocolate cake from Felicia’s!
Another must eat on a Bacolod food tour is KBL. This sour soup made with the local batuan fruit was very unique and is a famous Filipino street food in Bacolod, Philippines.
We finished off our Bacolod food tour with none other than the original chicken inasal. There are many places to try chicken inasal in Bacolod (the birthplace of chicken inasal), and we went to a local favourite. The original chicken inasal was grilled to perfection, extremely tasty and delicious, full of flavour. We can see why the original chicken inasal in Bacolod is a must try on any Bacolod food tour.

Since you two are at the Sugar Capital of the country, I dare you to pass on the sweets. Hahaha! 😂😅 Silvanas, San Rival cake... You already had Kadyos, I guess next might be a seafood Sinigang made with batuan /"but one"/ 😂 On a side note, it's common for me to read some foreigner's comment that they don't like Filipino food because they find it TOO oily, fatty, salty, or sweet. I just quietly brush it off thinking "'kay..." since "Google" and most of our bodies show that we're not obese. 💁🏻♀️

Oh my gosh, what a great way to start the day with the half-moon cakes👌😋! We were amazed by the beautiful, tasty cakes and desserts they serve! The chicken inisal looked so mouthwatering! There's certainly no wasted part of the chicken👌!

Jackfruit is like a meat when cooked. 😋 when you still have time here in the ph try to visit bicol region (luzon), there is a lot of filipino dish you can find in that area. stay safe guys.

They put too much chili on that pork and black beans. The chilis will ruin the flavor.
