Love this series. The info on blueberries in containers is very helpful, about 2/3 of the way through the video.

Curious about blueberries in a barrel here in Missouri. I would need to research cold tolerance for the root ball. Low of 1 degree today and I live in a pretty windy area.

A good book i found was Ann Ralph's "Grow a Little Fruit Tree". She mentions Dave Wilson Nursery a lot, which is how I got to this video. She has a lot of detailed pictures and diagrams for pruning and spacing small fruit trees for BYOCs.

Bigger yield would be great when s*it hit the fan and you could no longer buy in groceries. Then preparing for winter preserving your fruit in jars would be a good idea.

must disagree with Tom on one thing. If you find a volunteer fig seedling, don't kill it...............buy a named variety from a Dave Wilson Nursery retailer and graft it onto the seeding. You're welcome Tom.
