I have been using Acronis for years but I never thought about this powerful software to take care of my phone and with your video I started and finished everything in no time. Thanks Bri! Question: I currently use Syncios as a cell backup tool. Is Acronis comparable or better?

Does this backup all the apps along with data such that if you need to restore the backup you will not have to install all your apps over again. Does it do a full backup of text messages including pictures and photos. Is it a true full backup and could it be used if you have a new phone you would like to transfer everything to. thanks

Regarding using a NAS. You need a NAS that you can install the Acronis App. No good to me as UNRAID does not support it. Bummer

Respected @@nvidiasniper, QUBES OS is a privacy-focussed Linux Distro that works on the principle of software compartmentalization. Edward Snowden, famous NSA Whistleblower, uses this distro, as mentioned in one of his tweets. Check out the official website. Do give it a try. It helps to create disposable VM's or qube for each type of tasks.

Can you use this tool to backup and restore a partion image of the entire ROM?

The reviews on the Acronis app are very poor, 2.8 stars. I asked earlier if you could you could backup from one Android phone to a later phone and think it must be possible. It seems possible as the Acronis website mentions about phones getting stolen or lost. I don't buy much software but every few years I get the latest Acronis TI for the laptops, it has saved me many times. I'm not convinced about them being good enough for Android yet (app wise).

Does it support WhatsApp?

Don’t think it works on my iPhone tho

Acronis true image 2020 does support iPhone ... well I think it does. I will check

But it dos not backup what it really should.. namely, the apps, accounts, netbank, etc. etc. all the rest, are SO easy...

This is not a complete backup. Restore is so tedious... No real app support

All you are doing is a fancy file copy. If wanting to do a "backup", already have built-in utilities provided by Samsung and Google for Samsung phones. What I most want to know is how you create an image backup inclusive of apps, data settings, etc. and ability to restore to same phone or clone to a new phone of same bramd/model. This is nothing but a copy utility with ability to encrypt, nothing special here.

Basically another useless app. All I need is to backup the operation system itself. I don't care about the photos, documents and the other data because I can back it up by dozens of other apps including a stock one. I really expected Acronis to come up with something it's known for - an image creator for the system partition. That's the most precious thing - the exact state of the OS which is always bombarded and ruined by unwanted shitty updates. All the other things are copied to the computer and hard drives regularly anyways.
