Easily done in ds3. Wtf u talking about? Oh? Wha? You cant do it? Then maybe u really are THE scrub and ds1 multiplayer is shit?. I do gank spanks every 2 invasions. It is the only thing that makes invasion better than duels or arena. Complaining about ganks is the same as complaining about food for even having salt in it, it is what gives it flavour.

By chance have you tried barbed straight sword + offhand notched whip? Actually, any straight sword and whip works. The strategy is to throw out enough R1 spam with the straight sword to get your opponent into parry mode then you smack them with the unparryable whip until their brain melts and they start swinging wildly. All offhand whips can parry, so once you get to this point the highlight reel pretty much films itself. Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to more souls content!

For all the people commenting about how this is so uncounterable and all that, you don't know what you're talking about. Backpedalling counters basically every backstab option. Strafe backstabs and run backstabs, which is most of what he used in this video, are easily countered with a backstab of your own. If you see someone with a mainhand dagger or rapier, especially in light armor, expect hornet ring oneshots 100% of the time. Most of the deaths in this video are because people decided to use something really laggy, like a laggy spell or a heavy R2 on a halberd or something (or just a normal attack with a big str weapon like a greataxe/hammer/sword, sadly in ds1 big str weapons will never be really viable due to how you can backstab on reaction against them so easily), or because people decided they wanted to backstab Oro. If you try to strafe backstab someone, they can counter it by strafing in the direction you're coming from, which nets THEM the free backstab. Backstabs are unbalanced, but these aren't good players. Just people trying to get through the game with help. At higher skill levels of pvp you basically never see strafe backstabs because they're mostly just cheese.

Have you tried claymore + offhand scimitar? My friend uses it and it's surprisingly hard to fight. Staying out of range of the scimitar puts you at perfect claymore range, while staying out of range of the claymore puts you out of range of your own weapons. 2-handed claymore eats poise and shield stamina. Add in emit force for runners, heal punishes, and for blasting your feet to counter backstab fishers. It borders on sadistic sometimes.

I have mixed feelings, on one hand I'm happy about clear gank spanks ( not including people just playing to get to the end ), on the other hand, this only proves the GLARING PROBLEM with DS1/DSR PVP system. Also I'm impressed that you found people to invade considering only 500 or so people play DSR.

@@shmekelfreckles8157 Ok. I get this a lot, let me disprove this entirely with a good dumbed down argument. If there is no skill, then why can I beat better, and someone else can be better than me? Why can I utilize tools, in which have a favourite outcome in the neutral, why can I READ my opponent to figure out what they're gonna do, and PUNISH them for bad habits and bad neutral? To say this game has NO SKILL means that every player is on the same level of others, by abusing one thing or another, or by base game, thing is this game actually had a VERY in-depth neutral and a crazy punish game, either git gud, or 1v1 me and I'll lay out EVERYTHING for you, why you died, why you got punished and how you can counter it.
