@@Knight_Of_Eleum_Loyce And he's invading cursed in order to reduce his HP so low that Power Within's damage/second rounds down to 0 and doesn't drain his HP, so it's just a free and powerful buff! So he gets to use Power Within alongside all the low-HP buffs like Red Tearstone Ring.

I used to run a build very similar to this. The pike's 1 handed moveset has just enough reach and speed to combo it after the dragon roar. Very good for dealing with turtling players!

It's really good if you are better than your opponent and your opponent is relying on brute force or attrition to win. NGL, I forsee Elden Ring revolve around this kind of like DS3 did. You just won't beat the fast and powerful healing that coopers have access to.

@@ebonslayer3321 it's debatable whether estus cancelling is even necessary given how fast it is... But yeah thankfully most people won't know or bother with that. Doesn't help, though. Invasions in this game will either be fast losses or very long, drawn out fights.

@@manuelcalavera3207 I remember when DS3 came out, the first day there was a dude that hacked the game and I can't remember exactly but he was able to either fuck with your pc or steam account.. anyways, didn't know that was going on, kinda sucks cause I was wanting to replay through some of the games while waiting for Elden Ring. There is probably going to be some equivalent to that. The armor set used for the "Enchanted Knight" class in the network test is like a super fancy version of the Elite Knight set. So I bet Oro will use that if he decides to replicate his DMB Falchion build in Elden Ring.

Actually fire surge did counter this build pretty heavily because it ticks much faster than dragon head, making it impossible to get close. He invaded some fire surge spammers and died almost every time.
