Backplate & Wing Setup on XDEEP- Standard to Deluxe Harness Conversion
Спорт
DIY Video to Convert Standard Harness to Deluxe Harness. A quick release can make a great option on one, or both, sides to assist you getting in and out of your gear. It's also a great option if you are changing exposure suits quite often, or looking to outfit a rental line.
You can follow the same procedure for a standard dir harness. simply route the smaller webbing through the same slotted hole at the bottom of the plate. for the waist, one solid piece across the back.

Nice! Thanks for sharing.
Surprised you didn't use/install another tri glide and a D ring at the end of the "waste" piece, at the bottom of the plate? Seems like it would add a little more security too it not slipping and give a clip point for gear that is out of the way.

It's a great question / comment. However it's not a load-bearing spot and clipping on the side of the body isn't recommended when you are trying to advance your diving; thus no need for the additional d-ring. On the crotch strap, we already have a lower d-ring attachment point on the left and right hip. The idea is to keep things minimal and have the most flexibility when setting up your harness.

@@precisiondivers Thanks for the reply. That makes sense. I forgot about the D rings on the crouch strap at the bottom of the plate. It would just create clutter and unnecessary attachment points on top of each other. I didn't visualize it in my head when you demonstrated on the example plate. Thank you again for the response.
