Just purchased this today for my daughter's computer bag for school. I hope she never needs it, but thank you for making such a lightweight rifle plate for a bag that didn't break the bank.

This is dope and a great option for my bug out bag.

Some Body armor has problems stopping some types of ammo shot through AR 15's with 17inch and longer barrels. I'd like to see you use a longer barrel then 16in next test if possible. Thank you for the video

Hey there I think your company is pretty great, reaching us folks on a budget and responding to customer comments. I really want to pull the trigger on your level III+ AR500/600 armor but I before that will there be any videos of the frag coating being tested. You guys make it very clear that your armor does in fact defeat the rounds it’s claimed to stop but before I buy it It would be nice to see that I wouldn’t catch lead frag to the neck after the fact lol. I have seen some comments in the past asking the same question but they were not responded to, thank you for what you guys do.

Brought SRT (Special Rifle Threat) 2.5 lb/plate Elite Bundle and facing one issue --- the SRT (Special Rifle Threat) 2.57 lbs Multi-curve Armor Plate (TASRT) size is 9.5*12.5 and the velcro of the plate carrier is too short to secure plates in its 10*12 size space! I emailed customer support ask for solution and no reply so far, frustrated! Please help!

Can the pistol plate go thru TSA?

Where I'm at, kids don't have lockers so everything is in their backpack in class.

@@JakeDines Hmm maybe thats where I am wrong. Maybe its no lockers. Only backpacks. Idk. I graduated in 2006 and havent been back to any schools for awhile. The kid that brought a gun to my high school and basically wanted suicide by police, brought it in his backpack.

I dont understand the hesitation with the sale of backpack armor. This guy acts like it is a moral struggle. Body armor is a defensive object. It cant hurt people. All backpacks should have armor in them. You never know if and when you may need it. All schools shoulf have armed staff. We protect goverment buildings with guns and not signs. Schools should be protected the same way the CNN building is.

My armor is made by guys who can't open a box of AK ammunition.....That deformation is horrendous and hopefully you got some books to soften it.

Hey J Taylor! Thank you for your comment. I hope you don’t judge our armor based off of loading a magazine with ammo. If that gets on your nerves, I am just letting you know sometimes I eat my deep dish pizza with a knife and fork when it gets too messy. On a side note, the deformation of the panel is actually within spec, no books or laptops needed. Before we release a product, I always make sure we run testing from an accredited lab to verify our results. UHMWPE is an interesting material because what it excels at is slowing down a round, not necessarily breaking a round into pieces like a ceramic or steel strike face. With those properties, you will see the polyethylene interact more with the round by entangling it in the fibers. With more interaction it actually distributes the energy more evenly since it’s like a soccer ball hitting a net. I hope this helps a bit.
