I knew guys that take the tag end and run it through the loop then cut it. Leaving line poking out towards the fly/lure. (I can't recall the reason for this but it worked) Definitely true, that you could tie this super useful knot in several different ways. Good stuff 👍

Dave likes to use fluro for his leader. He usually ties a couple sections of different line class. 60 to 30 to 15#. The fly line was a sinking line.
