You are the strongest woman in the world. If it were me, I'd have 34 horses, and be unable to feed any of them. As you reveal your hard decisions, three centimeters away from tears, you are teaching the young women who watch all about the hard decisions we have to learn to make in life. Thank you for that.

I got really super bad vibes about the Friesian cross. :( He is an INSANELY beautiful and seemingly sweet boy who deserves the world though and I'm praying his rearend will heal with the chiro/rehab work the current ower should give him. He just beams with potential so I totally understand why you'd want him but I think it's smart to let the red flags wave to you as you walk away. Smart but heartbreaking. :(

Very beautiful Horse - definitely something with his hindlegs. If he was with the Amish there could be something that they were concerned about him as well (or knew something) and that’s why he even went to auction. He is such a pretty horse - and in front of a cart for sure stunning! Wishing all the best for this horse, you really never know at auctions… There were so many pretty horses!

Follow your gut! I believe you made the right call. They were way too eager to show him to you, it seemed a little pushy. I instantly thought of a shady used car salesman.

Such a handsome horse but I thought as soon as he came out that he didn't look right behind! Just hope he is treated well wherever he goes. X

I think you made the right decision. The Friesian reminds me of my mare with the hind. She has epm and it’s a nightmare. I love her to death, but it went from looking a little off in the hind to falling on me, seizures, hallucinations, irrational behavior, vision problems, ataxia, etc… it’s a long story but spent all my money in vet bills and she’s still not completely sound. She’s comfortable but I probably don’t have that long left with her. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. She is my heart horse and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

The Friesian cross looked lovely on the surface (that mane and tail was to die for!!), but something about the movement in his hind end didn't sit right with me. As hard as it was to not buy him, you made the right choice. Thanks for taking us along on yet another one of your adventures!

Shae, I think you made the right decision. The awkwardness started with your badly fitted saddle. Then there was all of his dubious conditions. But most of all, there was the reality that your plate was already full! Your babies at home deserve the high quality of care and training you so willingly give them. My hat is definitely off to you, Shae. 🤠❣❣❣🐎

I agree with you, his back end looked like he had spine issues and he dragged those back legs a little. I loved the little piebald who went for $700, a nice childs pony. Thanks for showing us!

Don’t be sad about not getting him. There are plenty of good horses out there waiting for you to give them a loving home. When you see red flags you don’t feel sure then it was a good thing you didn’t get him. It was a fun video so thank you for taking us along.

This was a wonderful video, my heart goes out to you having to make that educated decision. It is always best to listen to that little voice in your head that is telling you what to do instead of your heart. I don’t know anything about horses but the way he was dragging his back foot was alarming to me. Maybe if you get the guys card and have a vet check it would be worth it, otherwise I think you made the right decision ❤️ also thanks for posting the sale prices, that was very helpful given I couldn’t understand a word the guy was saying lol 😂
