I've never been a huge fan of solo violin, until now. Now, I'm a massive fan of Christian Li. I could listen to him for hours, and I come back to this channel every day for more of his glorious playing. I feel as though I've never really heard the violin before, and the beauty of its sound. Thank you, Christian.

The ending part when Christian held Dr Wilson's arm and bowed together, it was just too heartwarming.

So heartwarming! The performance and the love all around - the applause of the audience, the love shown by Li's parents behind the camera, his teacher gently guiding him.

There's something about Bach's compositions that's "music to my ears." Just glorious, evocative and hauntingly beautiful.

Not the best recording BUT this show that Christian exudes confidence which translates into his playing. A very confident and accomplished violinist. He’s a huge character on the stage and most certainly one of the, no scratch that, the best young violinist around. His mastery of the instrument is something you would expect from an older player. He is definitely going places and I’ll be watching this young talent.

Christian is for sure a prodigy, but he certainly has one of the best teachers to guide him all alone, otherwise his talent might not have the opportunity to shine as it is now.

The dynamic control and balance in the group is exquisite--the perfect scaffolding for the two soloiosts to build on. You can tell that everyone is making music together, not as ego-driven soloists trying to outdo each other with some sort of background (remember Menuhin and Oistrakh?). Really fantastic.

This performance is ecclesiastical! This interpretation has a life all its own, freezing these few moments in time to show humans how superb they can be, at their very best. Does one applaud, or say "Amen?" Both! To inspiring Dr. Wilson and to dear Christian, how gloriously you two deserve each other!!! From Lilian Duval in the U.S.

You are most welcome, Christian, and I wasn't just being kind! I was telling you exactly how I feel. I hope that you and Chloe Chua will find a way to perform duets; you will fill up the concert hall at the first word of that event. Too bad Singapore is not right around the corner... I hope that you're enjoying the magnificent violin you have on loan for a year. Wow, as we say in the U.S., "AWESOME"!!! Warmly, Lilian

One of my favorite artists + one of my favorite concertos = pure classical (or baroque, I suppose) heaven Christian, you're as amazing to me as all the top soloists! In my eyes, you're among the greatest players, and you'll only get better! Keep playing, and post more videos! Also, I was on the verge of tears during the second movement. Your playing is nothing short of hard work and a miracle.

my country, Brazil, unfortunately today, we are suffering a cultural crisis, where singing a song apologizing to rape, with a horrible voice and low quality is a reason for inspiration where we do not give value to classical music. The children are growing up being influenced by the Brazilian media, wanting to play guela below that singing with a scrotal voice, with repetitive phrases etc ... is a thing to be proud when in fact it is not!
