I played Bach when I was younger... I still adore it.

i love how eddy has perfect balance baroque and classical and isn't shy to play with light vibrato while also not sustaining the longer notes which is what they do with baroque bows

THIS piece was one of the FIRST that I fell in love with as a teenager in the early 1970s and it has remained for me a warm and welcome friend that will always remain in my heart and soul. To these two gentlemen who have acquired a world-wide following as "TWO SET VIOLIN", warms my heart to see just how well they play this masterpiece. ♥♥♥♥♥ It fills my soul again today! 🙏

I don't think there is a concerto I love more than this......and the Orchestra is playing it so tastefully...

I love TwoSetViolin and this piece. Both together are awesome 👏

There's a skip in the music at 10:45 - I don't know whether it jumps forward or backwards in the piece, as I don't know it well enough. EDIT: That moment returns at about 12:30, so almost two minutes of the piece is repeated. Not that I'm complaining, it's gorgeous, it just seems like a weird editing error to make.

Very well played. Really. Eddy and Brett and the SSO. And the concerto is wonderful. I already played this with an old friend of my family. But only at home. The friend was an amateur and he played...limited but he was very very nice and gave me his instrument by his wife for the time after his death. I very enjoy this concerto and I ❤ especially the 2nd movement. It is such a great peace at this music. It is really heavenly. Many thanks for this music.

Having only ever heard this in different keys for different instruments as a duet I find myself thinking that some parts sound better without the other parts🤔 Any criticism I came up with caused an immediate reflection but also serves as a personal performance note🤔🙂

i think they have stradivarius violins which are one of the best, but yeah the quality sounds a little off. it's most likely the recording though
