Acknowledging that mine is not a helpful remark, my problem is that every time it pops up as an optional next video, I also play it again as well; and it's typically quite a while before I close that particular tab. But at just three minutes long, it's more inspiring than delaying.......?.... Best wishes... ;)

@@mariapiazza-od8ib Thank you for the comment!. Yes, it is actually a transcription of Vivaldi's Concerto for Four Violins in B Minor, Op. 3, No. 10, RV 580! It looks like Bach was heavily influenced by Antonio Vivaldi's music.
Without Bach and Bach's great performers such as they , the classical music world and our world would have been very lonely

Just bought this Album(s) at the last concert of David Fray in Amsterdam Concertgebouw; where he played the Goldberg Variations (30 in one stretch) .What a brilliant player, and besides that, he's such an amazing kind man when we met him in person after the Concert. Many thanks for the joy you give us all.' Make music, no wars! '(free after Bach)

Why do people give a thumbs down to this wonderful music and the gifted performers? I can't imagine that in Bach's time with the much smaller pool of musicians to choose from he heard it play with such excellence!

Because this should be played on harpsichord as it was originally intended though do admit this is an excellent performance on piano.

A transcription for four harpsichords by Bach, and the performance has merit for getting the music out there before a live audience.
This reminds me of Glorious Grands held each year at Dupage College when there is an ensemble of pianos performed by many students. I am on the steering committee for this great in the Chicago area!

And not only that, but Bach arranged it for HARPSICHORD, not piano or "keyboard." Playing this on piano has nothing to do with Bach.
