I have been ill for almost 4 years and spend most of my days in bed. These little guys are my heroes. They raise my spirits. I wish they would make new videos. I have watched the same ones over and over again. But I am thankful for what I have. God bless you for providing this comfort to me.

Susan, just wanted to let you know I totally sympathize with you on your situation. Im.63 now, but I blew my back out at 43,driving a trip axle dump truck @ operating heavy equipment for a living. I'd come off the rd to raise my grandson, and I still managed to raise him, but that event was when my standard of living got stuck on survive. It got worse over the yrs, of course. Started with 2 bulging discs,2 ruptured discs, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis in back, hips @ knees, and after 15 yrs of severe chronic pain with all that I managed to fall 45 ft breaking my back in 6 places @ my neck in 3 places. That's also about the time they found out I was in kidney failure. I'm 3rd stage now. I can walk thank God, for considering all the damage that fall did I'm so blessed God took care of me for it didn't kill me or leave me paralyzed. I also have to have surgery for total knee replacement on both knees, they are bone on bone with spurs in both . I walk using a cane or a walker, and to be honest most of my time is spent laying in bed @ dreaming about the past, or watching the wonderful videos about these adorable ,lovable, so cute, precious creatures! I often wish I'd known of all these places and animals years ago, before I destroyed my body. Oh! To have done there and dedicated my life and hands to the care of these little ones, been part of fighting to save them and their world. As it was I did what I was meant to do maybe, and I have two sons who are good men. My,I have gone on @ on, I'm sorry. I just felt like I should reach out to you because your words touched my heart. We seem to be on a very similar path, and sometimes a road walked together isn't quite so lonely . So, if I've not scared you away, let's talk now @ then if you feel like it. If not, I understand and how and pray that your life and health get brighter @ better. I also watch all of the promates, mtn gorillas being another favorite, but I love all animals. So, Goodnight, rest well @ Good bless @ keep you safe.

@@Robin-rj8vg I am so glad to read your response. We do mirror each other in many ways. I don’t have all of what you have but my back is very much like yours. I wish I had taken time when I was young to take care of it then. Instead I worked 3 jobs at a time until God opened a door for me to have one job that paid more than all of them put together. I have COPD stage VI. It wasn’t that bad when I had my fall but it progressed while was recovering from my back along with fractures in both ankles my left knee and my left elbow. I only had one working limb but I fought to have therapy from the 3rd day after the accident. I just had to stop last summer. My lungs were not good and I had to stop. I had to move in with my daughter. They wanted to put me on Hospice but I just don’t think I am near that time. So glad to meet you.

In the summer of 1975 I was at the Saint Louis Zoo an orangutan escaped from his cage while they were cleaning it. He came running at me and climbed up on me and to his arms around my neck and I was staring right into his eyes I was afraid it first but then he began kissing me and I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. It was a wonderful experience I will never forget

I’m overjoyed to see that these orphan Orangutans,( people of the forest), are being so wonderfully cared for and taught the skills to survive. I know that they are generally solitary creatures so it’s amazing to see the camaraderie and affection they show each other. They are absolutely my favorite primates,( that includes humans, LoL) What breaks my heart though is the fact that there are so Many Orphans! I looks like an entire generation of them has been wiped out and the new generation will all have been orphan graduates of Jungle school. I hope Borneo and Sumatra finally realize what National treasures these people of the forest are.

well, as a native tribe from borneo... i can answer it easily. there's an ancient teaching says, "this homeland is belong to all of us, ain't just human." which means the jungle is not belong to human, but all creatures that live in it. so we must share with them, don't bother each other. since many thousand years ago, we live side by side with wild animal such orangutan, borneo cat, pygmy elephant, piranha and also crocs. but then many people from abroad came without learn about our philosophy of life.. by greediness, they destroy our jungle (home) and exploit everything. coal, trees, gold, oil, and nowaday is developing palm plantation. as a native tribe.. "orangutan are our siblings"

We should not be naive about this. They are all very young orangutans, and humans at a young age also get along well. As adults the, especially male, orangutans can be territorial and rather aggressive.

I truly enjoyed watching the show! I want to see more and more and more! 😃 It was beautifully filmed! Every moment was captured perfectly! Every Orangutan was featured perfectly to display their own personalities! I’m very impressed with how high some of the videographers had to climb in order to capture everything! Orangutans are so beautiful and I fell in love with them watching the Jungle School series! I definitely want to help with raising awareness for them and help keep them protected from going extinct! They are too special to ever go away from this earth! Thank you for everything y’all have done to capture this beauty and help this cause! 🦧❤️🥰

I heard sound at the beginning then again toward the end. I love the work that's done at the Orangutan Jungle School. Loved watching the yoga and the cute orangutan swinging and peeing. A joy to watch all them, especially the babies. Too cute.

I loved that part around 5:20 Give an orangutan a bag and they'll amuse themselves for hours on end with it. Age doesn't seem to be a factor either, though I'm not sure a fully flanged adult male would get the enjoyment out of one that a female of similar age would. That I'm not sure about, but fully grown adult females still have a little playful in them and still love playing with bags. I did see a video once where a flanged male flipped a small wading pool over and attempted to hide under it. Naturally, he was way too big to fit under it, but that didn't stop him from trying.
