Baby mongooses. Small ones of small ones. Slender, banded and dwarf, mongooses are nimble predators.

Mongooses (apparently saying mongeese for the plural will show bad use of the English language) are small nimble predators found all over the world but Africa has a large percentage of them. In colder counties the ferrets are close relatives and lookalikes. We had the privilege of observing both the slender and banded mongooses babies cavorting around our property where I was able to capture some of their antics. They are plentiful in Kruger National Park and if you drive slowly you will be rewarded with a sighting. They also frequent the camps in Kruger and if you camp you may get a visit from a persistent troop of dwarf mongooses looking for titbits in your tent.
