This is the first installment of our trip down to the Cape, visiting six of our National Parks in during the road trip. Karoo National Park is near Beaufort West a small town about 460 km north-east of Cape Town in the middle of the Karoo which is a huge semi arid region of South Africa. People think that the Karoo is flat, but there are some seriously big mountains in the area and the Park has plenty of them.
