I wish Effie was a bit more hands on with her baby. Her baby seems to want to have physical contact with her and it just seems like she keeps pushing the baby away.

I don’t wish to question you or appear rude however gorilla mums and even foster mums are very in tune with their babies important milestones, which is why they all at certain points give them more freedom a bit at a time, like climbing the mesh, trying foods and even when they can interact with others in the troop, especially the father as that only happens when she is 💯 confident there is no danger of anyone being too rough…. They are fantastic mums if they possess that maternal drive, if not they will simply not pick them up after birth. Hope this helps explain a little more 👍🏼
