Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAKK.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

It’s a crying shame that Japan would stand between these precious kids and having a family for ALL the children from their zoos. ALL these kids deserve a chance to have a family and kids of their own. It would be a travesty for the bloodline to end of these gorillas in Japan, all because Japan want do the right thing and work with other country’s. I hope both these boys will be given a chance to take what they have learned and have their own families. 💜💜

I appreciate the super thanks. Next month Momo will turn 24. Genki will turn 38 before soon. Gentaro will turn 13 this December. It’s a tipping point for the family in various things.
My birthday is July 2nd. Momotaro and I are both Cancerians. I don't think I could ever forget his birthday. 🦍🦀

Momotaro, my favorite, and Cenzoo, my second favorite silverback, were young fathers. Cenzoo was born in 1996 and his son ,Bolingo, was born in 2005. Cenzoo was still a blackback though. They were precocious boys that liked the older ladies 😆

Porque a Momotaro lo unieron en pareja muy joven, derivado de la situación de Genki sin pareja y del mismo Momotaro viviendo con su madre. Yo creo que Gentaro puede disfrutar su juventud sin problema, su carácter es más tranquilo.
De aqui en 2 o 3 años que a,Gentaro se le alargue la mandibula será como su padre Momotaro.Pero los ojos siempre serán cuando los veamos a,los dos juntos de su madre Genki.Kintaro los tiene de su padre Momotaro.😘

So far the gorillas Momotaro has met are his mother Momoko, Genki and Rola. Rola is not related on blood line. She is an old female gorilla now.

❤ so true ❤ but Momotaro lived a few years by hiself , before he met ❤ Mommie ❤ Genki ❤ when they sent his mother away 😊 then he was all alone but thank God he is much better now ❤ and it’s all good 👍🏼 be blessed 😇
