  It's one of my favorite times to see when the brothers are 'playing' and enjoying time together. I see Gentaro laughing quite often and, in my view, it is priceless! However, to see both brothers laughing is a real treat: 06:42. What fun! 🥰 😄 Thanks for capturing the scene!

  Thamk you GL for going in.details on the interacts of the boys together,and kintaro was not going to let.up until gentaro plays with him even if he had to sit on his head 😉, and finally kintaro goes to genki,and takes a nap on her chest,😅😅😅😅 and genki always allows her 👶 cuddle with her❤

  Oh my gosh....poor Genki was so upset that Kintaro wasn't coming out. She's such a good mom to her baby. I'm so glad he finally came out.

  It's a good job Genki is in captivity.... I don't think she would thrive in the wild, she gets unbelievably worked up over small things and the stress hormones can't be very healthy.

  Since there are no available females (Genki is the mother and I don't believe a "husband" and son would fight over a mother,) I see no reason why Momo and Gentaro would not be able to live together indefinitely. There are many "bachelor" groups at many zoos where silverbacks live peacefully together. Many times the silverbacks are related, fathers and son and brothers and half brother. Why would this arrangement be any different since no eligible females are in the enclosure?

  He has to dad won't put up with too much play and brother doesn't ⏯️ too much, Kintaro looks like he is going to be a teenager soon,I guess he is just big for his age,looks almost as big as Gentaro was at seven, watch out Gentaro,he might wip you.

  This zoo will soon have to address the fact that they have two adult male gorillas before there is a fight for dominance. Whatever happens, whatever damage to the animals will be their responsibility. They are wild animals not cartoon characters. Somebody has to take responsibility before there is a tragedy.
