B747-8 Inflight Crew changeover

Hello everyone and how do you do?
Ever wondered how crew take rest and changeover for rest periods in long haul routes? Here is an example. On this day, the flight time was just on 10 hours from Hong Kong to Anchorage, Alaska. The crew complement was three, One Captain, One senior First Officer ( Relief commander qualified), and a second officer). How do we decide/share the rest then? Well, it really is just a discussion and agreement between the crew who takes first rest etc. so on a flight like this one, We agreed to rest 2 hours 40 minutes each. It allowed for 30 minutes for departure/climb where we are all in the flight deck, then one hour before descent and landing at the other end. It also gave the 10 mins or so before rest starts after the changeover etc.
Listen to the process and I hope it makes sense. Chi Di Gin! Later!✈️✈️✈️😀

Why is it that most of the CPA pilots I see all have David Clark headsets? Is there any particular reason?

They are company headsets- we chose them for the best noise cancelling qualities. Prior to it we used Senheizer but they stopped making aviation headsets on a large scale was my understanding

You have been flying three hours and fourteen minutes? So the first two letters of PILOT. Last three letters would be the National airline of Poland and a man from the Bible who dealt with real angels.
