Indeed it is the truth. You walk in an Ayreon concert, you walk out the door another person.. It really works that way. It is just like a kind of religious experience. The story is full of doom, but the outcome is always bright and hopefull. Arjen tells a story of hope and optimism. And the way he does that adds years to your prospective lifespan by pumping pure musical joy into your brain. God, the guy is sooooo goooood.

I was at this concert. The very best concert I've ever been in my 68 years. Goosebumps and tears of joy that would not go away. I thought it could not get any better. Well, I was mistaken..... Today I received the live DVD from this concert.... It is on repeat untill the end of times... or 2085......Speakers barely coping 🫣. Arjen Anthony Lucassen: thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

I was there, it was just epic. When I found Ayreon 2 years ago I knew I had to go to a live show. And it happened! I am already saving up for the next one, hopefully in 2025. It was amazing to meet all those lovely people from all over the world. Music indeed unites.

I was there and it was awesome, also bought the DVD box (signed bij Arjen) and got goosebumps again watching this whole show. If there will be another Ayreon show, I will be there.

I was there and will never forget. Still tears in my eyes! Cant wait for the bluray!!

@@frank1963 I used the Ayreon gig as an excuse to cut loose and went on a 2 month trip haha Iceland, Netherlands, Belgium, England, Slovenia, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Austria and Switzerland with small dips into France, Sweden, Norway, Slovakia, Poland and Germany

@@Brendo2386 that sounds amazing 🤩. I visited most of those places myself. Never been to Australia though. About 35 years ago I had a working visa for Australia but just before I was going to leave my dad died so I stayed with my mother and never got around to it again.

I only discovered Ayreon a couple of years ago, and when I saw that videos of the live shows I was saying to myself that it would be cool to be at such concert, but that I would probably never have the chance to attend such a concert. However since that time, I changed my attitude and I said to myself tht the only reason for not having had the chance to do a thing was not having invested myself to actually do it. So the last 2 years, I did a lot of things that before I had only been dreaimg about, and one of these things was attend the Ayreon concert last year.

I got to go to the Saturday matinee performance of this concert, and I thought it would ruin other concerts, but the key is to remember that nothing will match it except another Ayreon show, so you just stop comparing other concerts to it.
