Because when you've got tracks like "The Day The World Breaks Down" (which, by the way, might be a record on the number of vocalists in one song), and then you make Fate of Man, bringing in a vocalist you heard sing karaoke in a Scotland bar (which itself is shocking), and then you put on a show like this -- honestly, Arjen, you could probably change the name of the show to "All-Stars of Metal" and nobody would notice, lol. Because that's what this concert reminds me of: In the States, for various team sports like American football, basketball, baseball, even hockey, we have "All-Star" games that brings the best players of all the teams together to play a game for the fans. And you, sir, do the same thing when you put on shows like this: You bring in the best musicians, vocalists and instrumentalists, all together for an album or a show, and us fans get auditory works of art that blow our minds. And I, for one, could not be more grateful. So thank you, Arjen, for your sheer genius and brilliance for making these gems that us fans get to hear, and in so doing, have our minds blown. Because you are to progressive rock and metal, what Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish is to symphonic metal. And I could not be happier, knowing that talent for making music isn't dead like I thought 20 years ago.

Not that everyone wasn't fantastic over the course of the 7 shows but I think Brittney stole some hearts everytime she appeared on stage. BTW Ed is an insane drummer. Love the guy so much.

In the Facebook Ayreon Fan Group a few years ago there was a poll who you would like to see in a next project. I suggested Brittney Slayes with the remark that not only is she an incredible voice she also would would fit in as the nice person she is. And I included a link to an amateur Karaoke video of Brittney performing Queen of the Reich. I still like to think Arjen saw that post and that started this all 😄 I promised my stepson (who I introduced to Ayreon and now is a huge fan) that we would go to the next Ayreon concert if I could get tickets. I was lucky enough to get my hands on two VIP tickets and I can honestly say,... This was the best concert I have ever attended. And Brittney slaying Floor's parts and Fate of Man was the icing on the cake. What an incedible singer she is. What a blast we had that night. Just received the blue Ray's to relive it all again. 🤘

The best part (well, there are multiple best parts... they are playing on rotation in my brain, vying for attention) is the absolute JOY that all the musicians show on their faces. Johan looks like he is on the ride of his life, yet he, Ed, and the Lull are providing the very pulse that drives this song. Truly, Masters of their art. Marcel is stunning, fluid and precise as ever... how can he maintain sync with Joost without the visual cues?... the click must sound like a blur!! The heart of this song IS the Master Clock of a manic machine. It feels sooooo right, for this to be a T2 tribute. Congrats Arjen. Above, in and through it all, the vocal line is storytelling incarnate. Marcela and Irene do the impossible, AGAIN. Belted Backing Bliss. And the emotions and audience connection on Brittney's face tell not only the song's story, but her desire to share it with everyone there. -- -- Those eyes. That smile. The energy. She has the audience right where they hoped to be... in the center of a revolving musical tornado. These are musicians who thrive on the rare chance to bring this music to their LIVE audience.

What a performance. Was there Sunday evening, best concert of my life. Slept in the same hotel as most musicians, was lucky enough to have breakfast with Brittney, her little one and Maggie. They were the most humble, sweet and down to earth people you can imagine. I am in my 40s and a seasoned business man, but not gonna lie i was quite starstruck. Next year, if there will be something going on, i will be there the whole weekend for sure. Just a small proposal for the next album Arjen: you could do a full female storyline. Brittney, Floor, Simone, Marcela, Irene, Maggie, Anneke etc. ... a man may dream ... whatever you will put out it will be great and i will be here for it. Thank you to all members of the Ayreon family for enriching my life with all the beautiful emotions.

before this concert I never knew Brittney could sing like this. It is awesome! Extra kudo's for Ed Warby's performance. That drumwork is excellent, I love the bells!

One of my favorite songs of the show. It has so much power, especially because of Brittneys outstanding and perfect voice. But all the musicians and singers did a fantastic job during the whole show. The backing vocals are also from another planet. Singing on that level in every single song in 5 shows in 3 days, that is fantastic. Thousand thanks for the great show to Arjen and to all others, who made this possible.

It's never to late to discover awesome music. My entry point was Devin Townsend, a few years ago I was thinking "what is this amazing singer who worked with Steve Vai on the Sex and Religion album in 1993 doing now?". The first videos I saw from Devin Townsend were of course the live videos of Kingdom and Grace, both featuring Anneke van Giersbergen. And I immediately fell in love with her voice and her smile. Digging into her work lead me to Arjen's projects. Now just like you I need to branch out further. 👍

I already received my signed artbook yesterday, spent the evening watching the show and I'm a bit tired today. But totally worth it. Thanks Arjen, all other musicians, singers, crewmembers and the audience. 🤘

From the first notes I thought you were going to play Phantom of the Opera. Whatever it is, Brittney slays it!

I just loved that show so much. Incredibly talented artists, every single one of them, insane production and just overall it seemed that everyone on stage and in the audience had so much fun. I also love those guitars, man they are beautiful.
