A simple and quick fruity dip to jazz up your munching sessions.
AVOCADO DIP
Ingredients
1 avocado
10-12 fresh basil leaves
3-4 garlic cloves
Salt to taste
6-8 black peppercorns
2 tbsps parmesan cheese powder
1 green chilli
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp pine nuts
2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil + for drizzling
Method
1. To make the dip, vertically half the avocado, discard the seed and scoop out the flesh into a blender jar. Add basil leaves, garlic, salt, black peppercorns, parmesan cheese powder, green chilli, lemon juice, pine nuts, and extra virgin olive oil and blend to a fine paste.
2. Transfer the dip in a serving bowl, drizzle olive oil and serve as required.
