After I went from Madrid to Málaga by a train (AVE 2082) that only called at Córdoba, I took a train that stops at all the AVE stations on the way back. Furthermore the AVE 2143 was a Class 103 (Velaro E) again, which is my favourite of the AVE trains.
Between Málaga and Córdoba the train speeds up to 300 km/h. Then there were construction works until Villanueva de Córdoba, where the bridges got refurbished. On this part of the route the AVE could only go 120 km/h, before accelerating up to 250 km/h until Puertollano. From Puertollano to Madrid the railway is mostly limited to 270 km/h, on two short parts even 300 km/h. Because of the construction works the trip took about 20 minutes longer than usual.
