Is moving that wire over going to raise any issues if/when I take my truck to the dealer and they hook up any diagnostics. I mean are they going to be able to communicate correctly with my truck in order to diagnose any possible problems I may have some time in the future. unrelated to this install.

Good question. Just what does moving the terminal do?

This Black box sure does look like the driver assist box in Cruze models.

On some trucks, there is a console configuration that have an HDMI input. I have this panel but have yet to complete the wiring or testing on my truck since my truck didn't have it.

@@grin64 There is going to be programing required for sure as the hardware you have now is not HDMI compatible.

Hey Phil. Maybe link to the proper removal tool that GM recommends. Mouser usually has pretty good prices on them.

Thanks for that. There are MANY terminal removal tools and each are slightly different. I stopped sourcing each one of these types of terminal removal tools because the concept of removing is the same. I have over 100 different terminal types I use, which means 100 different terminal remove tools ;). I found that a pick tool serves my needs for a majority of what I do.

Rene BT - Try using a good light source to see down into the cavity. If you are applying pressure on the wire, try not applying pressure until you can get the pick tool in between to release.
