The date is 3/4/22 ordered this harness from this guy. Received it in 3 days, quality product. I had some troubles with my truck having a blown fuse, the guy spent the better part of the day on the phone getting my issue sorted out. Harness is about as easy to install as you could want. His customer service is above and beyond. This whole transaction reminded me of how the world was 30 years ago. If you plan on doing the swap this harness is hands down worth its weight in gold. This man has better service than Chick-fil-A all by himself, if you buy a harness from him you’ll see it in 2-3 days and it looks twice as good and professional as the OEM harnesses, not to mention he will literally walk you through everything if you really need it! Bought mine recently and still blown away at how easy this guy made it.

Huge thank you for making this video and also making the conversion harness! I can't wait for my harness to get here. Definitely been a pleasure working with you all!

Well, I finally got the center console and jump seat swap finished. I will add a couple of comments or tips for anyone that is doing this. Before you set the center console in the truck, you need to look at some plastic pieces that hide a support for the dash that is just to the right of the gas pedal. If you pause Mr. Gamboa's video at 5:57 you will see the bare support to the right of the gas pedal. There are two pieces of black plastic that hide that support that must be removed or the side skirt on the driver's side will never fit into place. ] Another tip is that the side skirts can only be installed after the console is bolted in place but BEFORE you snap the top of the console with all of the electronics into place. There are slots in the side skirts that accept a plastic blade that aligns the top to lock the skirts in place. If you don't know about these items, you will take the new console in and out several times because things just won't fit correctly. I hope that this helps someone.

I just got finished swapping out the jump seat for a center console using Phil's video and wiring harness. Everything worked just like he showed and it was super easy. If you are really serious about making this upgrade then get order the parts direct from GM and purchase a wiring harness from Phil. You cannot go wrong. And Phil is fantastic about answering questions if you have any. Thank you Phil for everything.

I ordered a console from eBay, the full brand new console and then the harness from P. Gamboa. I had questions and after emailing, I received responses within minutes. With this harness and his help this console installed quickly. Everything works as it should and I am happy with my new console. If you are considering this swap, buy this harness.

New sub here. I am looking at installing mobile ham radios in my GMC Sierra SLT 1500 2021 model. Mainly I am learning about where to route power through firewall and antenna cables from the tail. Thanks for your video talking about the console. Mine is newer and hopefully similar. I am also a member of GM-Trucks and have found some information there. Bottom line - I wish I were more flexible haha. All the best!

If you want to buy it all new, I have a list of part #s for you. If you want to buy a used console, then any 2014 - 2018 will physically fit. If you can get a 2018, even better, as it will have the latest wireless charging module (if it has wireless charging). Be sure to not get the console that has rear system entertainment (RSE).

you have the radio control under the console and the carpet has a hole for it so if you put in the seat that wont cover it

pgamboa is the man! If you are considering buying one of his harnesses, DO IT! I bought the DL3 harness from him to upgrade my LT mirrors to the LTZ powerfold/turn signal mirrors. I bought my first console off LKQ. 2nd Console was off of eBay as a takeoff. Many on the GM-Trucks forum are buying new the GM Wholesale sites online. I have a 2017 high country. I want to go from a center console to a jump seat. I’m a ham radio operator and CB. I would prefer mounting the radio bracket right to the center hump so I don’t have to chop up my console. This video helped me figure out a few things if I decide to keep the console and mount my radios in it. I appreciate any help or suggestions.

Absolutely! I have upgraded the wireless charging module and mine works for iPhone 8 and X. The part # is 13521066. They are found on the 2018 SUVs. GM changed the connector to the module, so your existing connector will not fit. I make pigtails for this that I started offering on the GM-Trucks site. Check this thread out. Dannon Voight - The most OEM method would be to find a 2018 Lid that already has wireless charging. Any other previous year will have the older charging module which doesn’t charge iPhones or newer android phones. If your truck came with the console, you’re best bet will be to splice the lid cable to the rear 12V plug.

I don't see how this upgrade would void warranty. What we are essentially doing here is extending the connection under your passenger seat (that plugs into the jump seat) and adapting that to the center console. The dealer would have the prove that this upgrade caused something else to fail....

This is wild, I was just hanging out with my buddy who has the GMC Sierra loaded and I was thing wow that a nice console he has in his GMC. So I said let me see if its possible to up grade my 2018 Silverado and bam there is was on your page. My question is out side of your adapter what other items might I need to buy? The install looks pretty straight forward.

Phil, does it matter which usb cable I order from your site for my console upgrade? I’m running from the hmi to the input side of my new console. Site shows one with a brown connector and one with a greenish blue, I’m not sure if they’re different and which one I should order?

I am trying to update the interior on my 2015 GMC Sierra. It is the Elevation Edition, and is a Double Cab, this is the first newer vehicle I have owned, and am wondering if this full center console could be converted into it? I guess by VIN my truck is considered a “Base”. I don’t know of any Base Double Cabs that have these, only the Crew Cab SLE and up trim packages. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

The console is the same color as dash. I've got the Jet Black interior. There are many variations to this console between years, colors, options. For example, 14/15 will not have a charging lid whereas later 15+ may have it. 14/15 models may come with a triple USB Hub up front and an SD Card Slot in the inside compartment. 16+, GM went with a Dual USB Hub up front and omitted the SD Card.

Would you be able to put this console In a truck that had the floor mounted 4x4? Not sure if you could cut it out where the shifter would be?

bikepro120 - The jump seat itself doesn’t have the 110VAC. This is an option that is located under the front of the dash (ash tray location). If you truck doesn’t have 110VAC now, you won’t be able to feed that into the 110VAC on the full center console.

I will be ordering a complete console on Monday 11/11/19. It will be out of a wrecked 2018 gmc sierra 1500 crew cab SLT. My truck is the 2017 gmc sierra 1500 SLE double cab. I already have the 12 volt and 110v outlets next to ash tray. The guy is supposed to send console along with any and all wires and cables that's connected to it. Can you give me any advice on anything before I order it, and what I will need from you to get it all up and running? Thanks!!!

Hi Phil, I'm trying to do this on a new 2018 Silverado. I bought a generic Amazon mini usb to female usb connector for my Android Auto connection, and plugged it in at the head unit, but i'm not getting any charge or signal. If your silverado or suburban per say did not come with the wireless charging feature but has the full center console. How could to add it meaning where would you get the wire harness and where should it plug into the vehicle so you could then put the pig tail and pad separate to complete the kit..

This may be hard to understand but I don’t have the full center consul but I want to add the three USB connection as well as an extra 12 V cigarette plug. I Minnewil chair of my vehicle is custom-made so I don’t have a normal center consul I only have one cigarette plug 110 V and to USB. What connections would I need to add the extra 12 V cigarette plug and three plug USB

Hello there I just did a High Country swap to my LT Truck it had cloth seats I also put door panels and everything in there but the driver seat will not move work or anyting how do I get that to work. It has something to do with the memory on the driver door

Hey quick question if i don’t have this harness my usb on the console won’t work but the two inside my center console will work. And only one cigarette lighter will work but the one inside and the one on the rear will correct? This harness is to make my 2 usb and the one cigarette lighter to work?
