    That was a great, honest and realistic demo; mercedes-benz produce crazy amounts of brake dust and eight months is a very long time for that dust to etch into the finish of the wheel and your product released most of the brake dust without agitation, that was really impressive, on top of that to be able to remove all of the brake dust with a very light agitation, it really deserves credit. I can't wait to try this product. On a side note, I like your channel a lot because of your honest opinion on products and techniques, you're not trying to just convince people that abc products are the best so they buy them and you can make money like obsessed garage.

    Man what a video. I would say your wheel product is a no go. As an owner of a detail shop that took way too long. The fastest way to clean that brake dust is wheel acid. Spray on and literally 5 seconds later hit it with the pressure washer and it will look almost brand new. No scrubbing, no gimmicks, I will make a video to show in the future. Keep on testing those products. The acid we use is about 100 dollars for 5 gallons.

  • @autofanaticcars

    @autofanaticcars

    wheel acid is toxic, destroys the brake calipers, suspension hardware and wheel finish over time and it is harmful to inhale any mist or blow back during use. This product also has gone through 3 revisions and is sold worldwide in 165 countries because of how effective it is and safe with no fumes and no damage to the brake system and finish.

    Everyone in the comments are so ignorant talking about how a $2-$4 cleaner does the job better or just as good. This wheel cleaner is so great because it’s safe on ceramic coating and other sealants and more importantly, if you don’t have coating on your wheels like I do, it does not harm your wheel’s finish. Most of you must not care about your cars paint, I understand soaps like purple power are good at cleaning but at maximum it should only be used 1-2 times a year because it’s a very acidic strong soap and will slowly bite away on your finish. PP should only be used when your car needs a deep cleaning. This product is a gem, only complaint I have is shipping lol but even at that the bottle technically can make a couple of gallons & another thing is that I have to buy a dedicated sprayer to use it. I really think this is a fantastic wheel cleaner that I hope to buy for my car and my mobile detailing clients.

    In all honesty, I truly expected much more wheel dust to come off, especially using a pressure washer to rinse the solution off. I get that you are selling a product, but you often do side-by-side comparison with another product. I cheap out on my wheels and use Simple-Green. I think it would have done at least equally as well as the cleaner you are using considering that you still had to agitate it to get the majority of the grime off the wheel. IMO. . .

    I'm actually keen on cleaning the inside barrel and spokes of my wheels. Fortunately they are 5 spoke wheels, so I'm able to do it regularly without having to remove them. All in all, the inside barrel of a rim plays some roll in the overall looks of a car. Interesting video, though I was expecting to see some info regarding treating the surface of the barrel, either further cleaning or protecting for next time.

    Pretty sure most average vehicle owners would be lucky to have their wheel barrels cleaned every couple years or sometimes never in its life time. He made it sound like the 8 months of grime and brake dust was a torture test. No arguing that wheel was dirty but detailers are from another planet.

    8 months of brake dust build up is a joke. I have 12 years of brake dust build up on the inside of my wheels. Nice video hopefully mine will clean up that nicely.

    Not to knock your product but a dedicated inner wheel foam block+car wash soap couldve done the same job faster minus chemicals, and wasting of water. I wouldnt want a caustic solution on my tires either.

    I agree with 'Wesside', for the amount of solution and water and you still had to scrub the wheels. Not sure this was a great demonstration of the product. Many other Wheel Cleaners would have removed more grime with a whole lot less water.

    In North America we dont have number plates specific for the year of the car. We get random number plates (or pay extra for custom plates) and we can register them for any car... some people have had the same plate for 20+ years with multiple cars...

    I bought a 2004 forester xt that its wheels never been cleaned on the inside. I used wink rust remover, bar keepers friend, 409, bon-ami. Pretty much anything i had at the house. And used some brass wire wheels i had. Took forever and the inside is pitted from the years of neglect. I may polish the aluminum or paint them soon. Seems like this product here works well
