Thanks for the video buddy but I would just go buy an Xtool A30M. On sale they go for $150-$180. It'll do all makes and almost every car you can think of with lifetime free updates. It does bidirectional testing and all systems scan. Live data has everything you can think of. The Xtool A30M is the only tool to get other than a professional scanner. it's almost like having a pro scanner anyways. Do a review on it next maybe. 👍

I don’t understand
How does the AP2500 compare to AP200 which is a similar tool for similar price? the Autel site will not compare the two tools. Do they both scan the HVAC system? No details are available, just some random screen shots.

the 250- allows you to choose one car line for complete access to all the modules for free. so in your case about the hvac module, you would want the 2500

I too interested on HAVAC live monitoring. AP200 doesnt work for HAVAC live monitoring, It gives error "Service not supported"
Hey John, I'm a do-it-yourselfer and I just purchased a p2500e And I downloaded my Mitsubishi outlander sport OPTION? However, it only let me do a full scan once. Why is this?

although I did not try it on a diesel, since it allows you to pick one car line for full support, I would have to imagine it would allow you to do lite diesel vehicles
Wonder if there is any accommodation for those that spent $70 on the relatively crappy, badly supported MaxiAP200. No ability to save logged data, on Android none of the scaling features work, and sketchy Bluetooth connectivity.

have you tried calling their tech support for assistance?
I hope it's 20x faster than the old version. The other brand offers a reasonable subscription for all makes and it's fast. I pretty much gave up on cell phone scanner apps. The competition is fast and has all make subscription, but the hardware on these things didn't make it through the first year. I never renewed the subscription because it died just sitting in my truck at 9 mo old. Not sure about Autel, but the internals of these devices appear to be the same as the $19 ELM327. I'm not installing any Chinese apps on my phone. Another problem was the app was ad infested. The Autel wasn't like this, but it was so slow, I never wanted to use it. Except on Nissans, the latest Snap-on scanners are so fast, you will never want to use a smartphone app to scan cars. Perhaps a home user might want it, idonno. Personally I would pay $900 to $1400 instead of wasting money on cellphone obdii scanners. I mean if it's not that good, I would scrap the project. It's a nice toy to play with, but not professional by any definition.

hi jack and thanks for your comments. this tool is not intended to replace a professional scan tool for all makes and all models. as stated, for 70 dollars list price, it is a great alternative for someone who is a do it yourself we that is looking for professional like scan and diagnostics capabilities on one car line in my opinion. yes, the app is Chinese based however most apps and phones are already Chinese based so it did not bother me a bit downloading the app on my iPhone when I was asked to review this tool. thank you for watching

@@electron-john Perhaps if they made it faster to scan all modules, you could use it to pre-scan cars and capture or transfer the YMM and vin to your RO program. Diagnosing cars it falls short, but Identifix has such a project at one time, but they never sent me one. The device looked exactly the same as the old Autel version.
