AUSTIN BUTLER (New) INTERVIEW! on who he wants to see ELVIS & BAZ LUHRMANN talks LISA MARIE PRESLEY

Ойын-сауық

Austin Butler delivers an Oscar-worthy performance in Baz Luhrmann's new film 'Elvis'! Here, the actor chats with Emmy-winner Tara Hitchcock (IG: @taraontv) about immersing himself into the role, how he changed as a result, and how he prepares to 'let go' of Elvis. Tara shares how Butler's family (many who live in Arizona) intend to watch the movie. Director Baz Luhrmann talks about Lisa Marie Presley and how her comments about Butler's performance helped the young star release some of the pressure surrounding the film's release. Catch ELVIS in theaters 6/24!

I'm NOT kidding - look for Austin come Oscar time...his performance? one word: WOW!!! Thanks for watching my chat with Austin and director Baz Luhrmann. Austin's grandmother Linda had no idea I was interviewing him a few days ago and wanted me to tell him how proud they are of him. I hope you found the moment endearing. Let me know what you think of the movie after it opens! Oh - and feel free to SUBSCRIBE. More interviews and coverage on KTVK / "Good Morning Arizona" and Harkins Theatres coming soon!

What AN AWESOME interview..I loved your questions Tara! The movie was amazing..I've seen it 3 times already! Austins performance was so powerful that halfway through I had trouble distinguishing him from Elvis! When I heard Baz was doing this film that's what made up my mind to see it...he made my all time favorite movie Moulin Rouge...I now have a new favorite 😉! I also love the respect they both gave to Priscilla (& family), not just in the movie but in real life as well!! It's about time someone acknowledge her in a positive way..🙏🏼...Elvis was my first love...Austin is my second now!!

We followed Elvis for 5 years until his passing in 1977. Austin Butler had Elvis's soul in him. Been a fan since 1956. Seeing ELVIS on June 21st, 2022 here in St. Louis. Austin Butler should be oscar award for his performance in ELVIS.

Cousin Billy, along with Lamar Fike and Marty Lacker wrote one of the trashiest books I have ever read.....a bit of it. Had to toss it, it was so horrible. Pure betrayal. All for $$$. Then for all these years that same bunch got on TV and said things about Elvis that made them even worse betrayers. When Elvis died, and then Vernon not long after, none of the betrayers were ever welcomed at Graceland or any Elvis Week events. Lisa hates them all who betrayed her father. Thank goodness for a small handful, like Jerry Schilling who stayed true to Elvis to this day. Lisa told Diane Sawyer she hopes they rot in hell.
