Release the version on the dvd, please. I would gladly sit through hours of this film.

WOW! hearing Austin say that "never been to spain" live on stage, was cut from the film, blows me away! Now we MUST get the full 4 hour director's cut on blu ray and DVD. No doubt whatsoever.

We need ALL the footage, specially all of Austin's performances and recordings!!!!!!

I saw the movie and he was really great. He will probably win an Oscar.

I want the 4 hour long Elvis movie!!!!

Watching later Update: this movie was remarkable and a must seen. This was well directed , really shows how Elvis & colonel Parker’s relationship was like. I was the only youngerster in the movie theatre who’s 15, everyone else was much much older than me. And what I can tell you is that these older people can see Elvis an amazing man. I’ve gotten into him 2 years ago, the Priscilla and Elvis thing doesn’t give me much attention & I can see why people disgrace him for it. Without black music Elvis wouldn’t be here that man gave credit to every musician he’s work with or did covers for. If you’re wondering if you wanted to see this movie you should. It made me cry a lot and I’ve never done a thing like that for these films. Baz you did it once again. This movie deserves many Oscar’s !

@@scottd817 it was an early screening, San Francisco, California. They did it in other states and cities too. But they’ll release the movie on Friday.

@@johnnyspineto7885 haha let me know updates when you see it one day. It’s something I doubt you’ll regret watching, after that film I dreamt about Elvis. It was just so surreal & makes you feel like you’re actually part of the movie.

Seen the movie TWICE already. Nobody should miss this one. What a story of Elvis....and Austin Butler kills it.

I like Austin. He's a lovey guy. I've now seen the movie. Austin gives a fantastic performance. It's a wonderful film very truthful. I wept during the screening especially the interaction between Priscilla and Elvis. Scenes towards the end of the movie. Carl.

Things I wish had been different. For example. When we hear little richard sing "tutti fruitti", it would've been great to have elvis do a kick ass version of "mean woman blues" right after. A missed opportunity! Don't get me wrong, I love this movie. But having elvis rock out at club Handy on "mean woman blues" would've been EPIC!

“Never Been To Spain” I am confused. That song I am pretty sure was only performed in 1972 and the movie skips over that year very quickly during the Burning Love montage. There is also a President Nixon scene but he met him in like 1971, but the movie also skips that too. I am sooo confused.

Baz had both those in the movie. He had three hour version to show in cinema's but was talked into cutting it down to two & a half hours. Apparently the four hour version will be released some time in the future Baz is really tired right now after eight years of working on the Elvis Project. But has said in interviews, that the four hour version will be released at some stage.

He looks nothing like Elvis lol

They should have cut all scenes in this movie - Butler and Hanks were terrible - I could not even watch this movie to the end!

That's how I feel about that bohemian rhapsody flick. Yuk. I had to stop watching it. I'm glad I didn't pay money to see those teeth. That's was ridiculous. Rami even said the teeth were a big problem.

Yeah that song is killer along with Proud Mary or Polk Salad Annie. I'd love to see him do You Lost That Loving feeling or Bridge Over Trouble Water. Ughh. Make Elvis a Trilogy and keep brining Austin back. Have a movie about Elvis and the Memphis Maphia of all the wild crazy things they did. They have some of the most hilarious stories. The prank Elvis pulled with a guy with a gun with blanks trying to kill Elvis and they all went crazy and I think Red West dove in front of Elvis to protect him while everyone else shit their pants. Then Elvis broke out in laughter. I think it was Charlie Hodge they pulled the prank on I think. Anyway they should do a Part 2 with the other footage and add more to it to make a 2 hr movie.
